  1. The Dark Knight 2008 The most overrated movie of all time.
  2. I don't disagree. The essence of my point was that not enough parents do know their own children or what is best for their children because they are themselves uneducated.
  3. The ones that spring to mind - Taxi Driver (1976) Pulp Fiction (1994) Casino (1995) The Matrix (1999) The Usual Suspects (1995) Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987) Diner (1982) The Big Lebowski (1998)
  4. The law is the law, but ultimately, it's down to the discretion of the parents and there is nothing the state can do about that. Problem is, parents these days are as dumb as the kids.
  5. I have learned that the name 'Fungi' has never before been so fitting and suitable to a person.
  6. Angel Heart (1987), starring Mickey Rourke as lead role, and Robert De Niro supporting. Being a heavy De Niro fan, this was a film I had to watch. As per usual, De Niro's powerful influence was impossible to ignore. However, it was in my opinion, Rourke's performance that really stole the show for me. I have seen a few of his earlier films (back when he was in his prime), and I have to say this is among one of his finest cast as leading role. I would brand the film a mystery thriller, which kept me guessing and eagerly anticipating what was going to happen next. I should also point out that it is the subtleties of the film that shine, an example being the beautiful but haunting cinematography and camerawork, closeups etc. Furthermore, a touch of noire from the outset and throughout really does add extra polish. Rating - 7.5/10
