SHEFFIELD PEACE IN THE STREETS Here's a link to the group: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=221406617905966 In light of the recent events and riots, many "youths" are showing that we are not all bad. This event will take place in the Sheffield City Centre on Thursday and Friday at the Peace Gardens. Our aim is to show support to those who've suffered due to the riots, and to show that we do not agree with the actions of the looters in other respective cities. I go to High Storrs, and I once caught the bus which also picked up Silverdale kids. I was sat with two of my friends, one whom was Somalian. The Silverdale Somalian kids sat at the back and began shouting abuse at us and at my Somalian friend for not hanging around with "her own kind". I felt sorry for a mother and her children sat near us, as the children had to hear and witness the foul language they were using. They then began throwing bus tickets around the bus and threatening to burn my other English friend's hair. They then ALL stereotypically got off at the Broomhall stop, and they used the fire exit at the back, which of course irritated the driver who had to go and make sure if it was securely closed again. However, he did not say anything to the Somalians, maybe afraid? This is something inevitable, and I personally ALWAYS hate getting the buses that goe past Silverdale.

Have you been to the restaurant? I have been many times and the first time, no, I didn't know it was bring your own wine, but Spar was RIGHT next door and I really didn't find a problem in walking a couple of feet to buy some wine. I've also been to Italy and back, and believe me, I've never had a better Calzone anywhere else than Bella Napoli, so maybe the fact that the owner is South American adds a little nice twist to the food.

Hello there! My daughter and her friend are having a joint 18th birthday party in August, anywhere around the 18th-21st will do great and we are trying to find a perfect venue for private hire, or room hire. We need somewhere that: can fit around 100 people that has a bar that closes around 1.30am + somewhere in the sheffield city centre allows us to put up minor decorations (i.e banners and photographs) Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I have been there before, and its a wonderful place! So what they dont accept cards? There are many places that still do that! But if you are still fussy about not being able to use your plastic, there is a cash machine next door.... Also, Spar is next door so if you arrive without wine, just pop and buy a bottle. Simple. Still, just because you cant use your card doesnt mean that you should miss out on this wonderful food!

High storrs school. I went there and they had the friendliest teachers and theres always something fun going on at high storrs. They also do all the subjects you are interested in. I think its something like a 70% pass rate and a 68% A-B? I THINK! good luck
