  1. Hello there, Cap. Recently my wife and I finished a somewhat similar project. We opted for a parquet because we thought It'd look nicer. Turns out we weren't mistaken and it just looks splendid. We went through a lot of sites, but in the end we chose this particular parquet flooring supplier. If you are interested, I could post some pictures later on. Cheers, Michael.
  2. You're on. Would you mind getting a quid soaked in tears, though, because I'd be really sad if you turn out to be a clairvoyant or something.
  3. That man is a walking and talking security risk for the US. Neither he nor his administration are qualified to run a country... Just look at how members of his team have been spilling state secrets/using private emails for government-related communication. With that being said, Hilary wouldn't have been a much better electoral option, but it would have been the lesser evil. Trump is way too discriminatory in his words and his actions and I think it's just a matter of time before he ****** off someone he shouldn't have. To add on top of that, he is quite hypocritical in his actions against the immigrants, given the fact that his wife comes from eastern Europe. There are many other disgusting things about him, such as when he hinted that he would have s*x with his own daughter if he wasn't her father. My bet is that he'd either die from something like a stress-induced heart attack, or he'll simply get assassinated. I'm willing to bet a quid on that. Any takers?
  4. In my opinion, they are spinning it off more to the comedy side, rather than focusing on the competition. I mean, yes, it can get annoying at times, but the main concept is still there. The main show gets me thinking too much when it comes to assembling the words, whereas here I can just occasionally laugh at the 30 seconds segments Jimmy is goofing off in. I guess it all comes down to personal preference. And most of the times, the item introduction part is potentially the best one in the whole show. Not to spam the thread, I'd add Gordon Ramsay to the list of my dinner guests, I'd even be happy to let him cook it, lol.
  5. Thank you very much, I'll look into these plays and see what would be interesting for the kids.
  6. Rachel Riley and the cast of 8 out of 10 cats would make my evening really enjoyable, I reckon. However, I'd love to just sit on a table with Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Sir David Attenborough and listen to them hold a conversation for hours.
  7. I think it's mainly because of the dopamine, to be honest. But I just love the feeling exercising leaves in me.
  8. Well, given the fact that you are already engaged, shouldn't you have already accepted that you'll get married eventually? I mean, you said 'yes' when he proposed, so it's a given there should be a wedding at some point. Something must be forcing him to make a comment such as that, so I'd suggest talking it out. Maybe it's pressure from his family or something else. However, I have to agree that even if he has good intentions behind that enquiry, the wording he has used is completely and utterly horrible. This is not a proper way to be treating your future spouse. So in the end of the day, the decision is entirely up to you - if you think that the prospects of a future life with him will make you unhappy - just don't go through with the potential wedding and dissolve the engagement. If you, however, decide that you love him and relish the thought of you two growing old together, then you should probably get married. There won't be a significant change in your lives after all, just because your relationship status went from 'engaged' to 'married' in the eyes of your friends, family, or anyone else close to you. Whatever you decide to go, keep us posted. I personally would like to hear from you again when you have resolved your issue. Michael
  9. Hey, lads (and gals). I'm about to visit Sheffield with my family right before Easter, and as I am quite unfamiliar with the place, I came here looking for an advice. Are there any nice theatres in the area, and is there a play or a performance worth seeing? I am not looking for anything too heavy that involves a lot of thinking, because I am quite certain my kids will not enjoy it too much. Looking forward to your replies, Michael
