Yes your right. Its an air vent from Totley tunnel. In the days of steam trains there used to be a lot more smoke coming out of them.

I use them all the time now.The service & prices are good, cant fault them.

Mine was doing the same, I took it to my son- in- laws garage.It was the air flow sensor.
