  1. I think there is a lot of information out there and on here. Sadly, posts and comments can conflict, leading to confusion as well as go out of date as we learn more about the Covid-19 strain of the Corona virus. This being the case, I suggest keeping a .gov link on your computer, phone, tablet etc and check it every day and use common sense. Here's a link to get you started https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-outbreak-faqs-what-you-can-and-cant-do/coronavirus-outbreak-faqs-what-you-can-and-cant-do Be safe everyone.
  2. First of all, I'm not encouraging the use of cannabis. Over the last few years Spain has licenced the sale of cannabis from small discreat dispensaries. You can go in look at the menu and chose the strenth you require. You can become a member if you are resident in spain, and once a member the cost goes down. If your a non-resident you will be asked to produce your passport. It all seems very civilised. Alot of expats retire in spain and its quite surreal to see 80yr granny walking in for cannabis arthritis pain medication. The authorities are happy generating revenue, but smoke it out in a public place then expect some jail time. If it's out in the open we can be educated about it. Talk about it. Regulate it! If we do nothing and condemn it, we push it underground where we can't be educated about it, talk about it, or regulate it.
  3. Just flown over Norton heading ssw. Very loud.
  4. Ripply traffic police officer. I was told this 25/7/2013 Granted it was over 4 years ago. But hey you maybe right. should i not trust the word of a police office? lol
  5. My god, I'm sorry but this makes you sound stupid and I'm sorry say it's not just you. Even people who have a home and get housing benifits (which you can't get unless you have a home) struggle everyday. Lets hope this never happens to you. Drugs, yes a minority do take drugs, drinking alcohol? If i had to climb the prejudice of good citizens like yourself, I think have a drink when i got the chance (by the way i don't drink). Approximately 85,000 people are convicted of drink driving related offences each and every year in England and Wales alone according to drink drive .org. These people will have jobs, homes, possibly children. Money to pay insurance. Who's the real nuisance. All your doing is feeding the ignorent and the meanies their excuss to do nothing to improve the lives of you and the less fortunate. I don't mean to sound high than thou, we can't help by throughing hatred their way. A little compassion and uderstanding would help.
  6. I agree with your comment paula. At the moment the police are only given bonuses in relation to revenue collection ie fines, FPN and privet hire like football events which is for the intertidal officer, however these bonuses are more often than not a pooled team effort. Hindered by presure from other offices in the pool to generate revenue, leaves little time to perform the duties they sware too. Performance in crime is rewarded by advancement. But who has time for that when the presure is on?
  7. Homelessness and begging go hand in hand and is a product of our own greed. To night, when your watching your favorite soap, out on the ****, or off to work. Take a moment. In the blink of an eye you could be on the street. The figures are rising each year due to increased cost of living and a flat rate of wages. So if you can help, do. If you can't then stop bitching like a spoilt child who won't share their toys and show a little compassion for your fellow man. Crisis.org showshow the latest figures showed that 4,134 people slept rough across England on any given night in 2016 - a 16% increase compared to the previous year, and more than double the amount in 2010. ---------- Post added 14-09-2017 at 12:35 ---------- Homelessness and begging go hand in hand and is a product of our own greed. 8. Had to make a witness statement at woodseats back in January. There were only two police in the station. As i was shown to the interview room i past a large room full to the ceiling with riot gear. There must have been several hundred jackets, helmets, sheilds ect. There were alot. It made me think... ...if they are cutting back on responce sevices for the public, incidents may escalate by the time the police arrive, but if they do, at least they will have enough gear to beat all and sort it out later. Lol ---------- Post added 14-09-2017 at 11:52 ---------- Me again. Just one more thing... ...my council tax has risen each year and in a breakdown the contribution to the police commissioner has risen. Why then has this increase not been passed on to the bobbies? They've had no pay rise for years (so its been reported) whats happened to the extra we've been paying. Were is the revenue we pay to the council for the police commitioner from over 220,000 homes gone? Does anyone know? ---------- Post added 14-09-2017 at 11:53 ---------- Had to make a witness statement at woodseats back in January. There were only two police in the station.
