Hi everybody Some comments and advice on buying this treadmill would be appreciated. https://www.amazon.co.uk/REDLIRO-Portable-Treadmills-Bluetooth-Treadmill/dp/B08Y8JVM8V/ref=sr_1_57?dchild=1&keywords=Under+Desk+Treadmill&qid=1631553303&sr=8-57 My weight is 8 stone/50kl and the motor is only 1 HP it would only be used at walking pace but it worries me it could be undepowered Almost every day since I retired in 1995 I have kept fit by going for a brisk walk ranging from 1 hour in the early years to the one and a half miles in around 30 minutes I do now. I decided that although I am pretty fit and nimble for my age (88) it's time to do my exercise indoors when it is cold. I am not interested in treadmills with their fancy readouts or bluetooth additions i just want to get on it do my 30 minutes or so and get off. I also dont want to spend more than £400 because at my age I might be here today and gone tommorrow

Nut bar in Meadowhell wheres it gone?
alankearn replied to Happyanna's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
I may be wrong about this because I am thinking back around 50/60 years but I seem to remember a Jack Scholfield buying fruit and veg in Parkway fruit market. Did he own a fruit and veg shop around the 1960/1970s -
I think I saw some 60 and 100w in Handsworth Asda earlier this week while looking to stock up (with no luck) for some old type 60w candle bulbs.

Around 1939 the lower Manor Estate had inside bathrooms (an offshoot of the kitchen) and a inside toilet, I also seem to remember a small coal place next to the toilet in a short corridor that was a offshoot through the back door. Every room except the living room (coal fired) was cold in winter Click on this link for more https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manor,_South_Yorkshire Whoops, I did not use the quote button, this post is a reply for "ianparkin"

Poundland V poundworld-business strategies?
alankearn replied to Janus's topic in General Discussions
Surely when a buisiness/retailer names and bases it sales on on items @ £1 eventually are going to have problems with inflation alone. For a few years I have thought they can not hope to keep having things manufactured/produced to sell at this price Maybe they should rename them the £2 shop and in a few years time the £3 shop and in 50 years time the £50 shop. -
Any one use the Swift Auto Centre service/repair garage in Swallownest, if so how satisfied with them were you . Thank for any comments
