My house is on Darnall Road opposite the old fire station. Old maps show a brickyard on the site. My mate on Darnall drive has an old clay pit at the top of his garden.

Got talking to a pleasant young chap, watching a band at the Maida Vale last night. Turned out he knew a friend of mine. The young chap was called Jon Pass. He told me his dad had written the books.
