  1. If a child cannot attend school for a health- related reason, confirmed by hospital ( not GP),they are entitled to 1:1 support at home whilst they are unable to attend.School have made it impossible for your niece to attend, but they have a duty to provide work and support at home.Speak to the Head of Year/ Headteacher. If nothing changes, ask for out of school support ( it’s a legal requirement for illness/ injury supported by health professionals ). Hope that helps!
  2. Actually,we haven't - nearly but not quite !Division 3 is as low as the Owls have sunk .
  3. Yes,but not a player who can turn a game in the way that FF can! If he goes,my guess is it will be to somewhere bigger than Swansea .....but who knows in the world of football?!
  4. I think there is an old thread on this topic, but personally I recommend Petplan - not the cheapest, but the best for lifetime no- quibble cover in my opinion.
  5. Cursive script at Abbey Lane Primary in the late 50s / early 60s.It obviously didn’t stick - my writing is still untidy!
  6. Lovely ! Or eat it cold with salt and vinegar.
  7. Our younger son and his partner are Vegan and I tend to buy Soya milk for them - all of the ones you mention are fine on cereal etc,but most are not great in tea or coffee. We find Soya to be a good all- rounder! There is a website,I think it’s called Accidentally Vegan, which lists lots of everyday things which are actually Vegan and which are widely available. For example, some “ beef” gravy granules ,which have never been near a cow, some Mr Kipling pies etc.Worth a look!
  8. That would mean behaving like adults and actually discussing football on a (supposedly) football form.Apparently that’s impossible for some posters.
  9. Yes ,in 1962 I was in Shirreff house ( blue) !
  10. I bought a record by The Outer Limits once - I think it was called “Just One More Chance”
  11. And the world might end tomorrow- what a ridiculous post!
  12. Of course they hate it - it’s the same in any city, one team’s supporters hate the others to do well. That still doesn’t mean a club would sack their manager on the strength if it!
  13. You flatter yourselves if you really believe that “ the Carlos departure was driven by United doing so well”!
  14. He was a success at Hillsborough for two seasons - what exactly does it say about the club?
  15. He comes across as a sensible ,articulate young man. Well done Jordan - you’re an asset to the Owls !
