I had same problem with my old golf. Green end cap, hydraulic clutch. It's pretty common with that gearbox. Good luck

Ive got a w reg vectra 1.8 petrol which started playing up yesterday, the car starts first time and drives fine but when i turn off engine and try to start again it just keeps turning over but will not start again, once car has been left for about an hour it will fire up first time again, anyone have any idea what the problem could be????:huh:

just swapped it for a co2 bb gun which i had. tell me about bulbs....£126 is cheapest i found up to now. thanks for info

i dont work bank holidays with my company but if i have this one off it comes off my annual holidays so gonna work anyway, gonna see if they give me an extra day but not holding my breath

with the royal wedding on friday and it been a bank holiday im just wondering if you work on the friday are you entitled to another day added to your holidays for the year as when i asked my boss i was told i could have friday off but it would be taken from my holidays for this year. anyone know or is it your employers choice??????

same happened on my vectra a few week ago an took it 2 garage an they couldnt tell me exactly what was wrong, said it was an gearbox or engine problem so was gonna scrap it when a bloke at work said try changing plugs an leads but my model has a coil pack so got one from scrap yard an like new now..had same problems as your describing so might be worth a try..good luck
