  1. Now then Mr. Noob. First of all can I say that I enjoy your posts, always worth reading. But you do tend to lecture people. Now Anna always gives a point of view which rightly or wrongly I usually agree with... Anna never "Rants" is always polite and very sensible in what she posts.. Please give Anna the respect she deserves.
  2. I thinking trumping in a public place should be outlawed as well. I can put up with smoking and drinking, but people "Letting one off" should be illegal. It's a vile and obnoxious habit. Why should I have to breath in the contents of a sprout filled stomach? And these "trumpers" are brazen enough to stand there after the deed is done smirking at everyone. Their no better than a farmyard animal. Disgusting!
  3. Obviously the parents buy them on the assumption that their children are safer carrying a phone.. Well, thats what the article stated. Sign of the times we live in.
  4. Correct Mr. Geared. The hatred that exists between the two, is unimaginable to us in the West.
  5. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it said there is an age limit, but parents are disregarding it..
  6. Just seen the news, Last year 30% of kids aged 5-7 had a smart phone. This year it has risen to 40% There is now growing concern about their use. Kids are being bullied and have access to sexual content. I've said many times that these contraptions are driving kids barmy and more violent.. 5-7 years old, chuffin ek, I haven't a clue how to work one.
  7. Cup ties and atmosphere's, you couldn't beat it.. I've stood along 40 thousand+ fans at Bramall Lane, wearing my red and white scarf and hat... Huge rosette on my lapel, and twirling my rattle around.. When united scored a goal the whole ground would erupt into a chorus of "On Ilkley moor Bart'hat" It made your spine tingle. E By Gum, Them were the days....
  8. I'm one of the older generation who remembers the FA cup for what it was.. Waiting for the cup draw, glued to the radio, after the draw was made word passed around everyone, the excitement had begun. If you've never experienced "Cup Fever" you've never lived. I cried when the Owls lost to Everton, after being 2 goals up in 66. Sadly the younger generation of supporters just aint bothered. The greatest competition ever, now on it's last legs.
  9. That used to UP THE BLADES many years ago!
  10. Used to have Cup Fever back in the day Mr. B. Fortunately it's been almost eradicated.. terrible affliction.
