The Future Of Sheffield City Centre

Thank you. They are. The point I was making is that is someone feels intimidated, then that's how they feel. It's an instinct and you don't really have any control over it. -

I wasn't too chuffed when I declined a 'woman' money and she spat at me. I was a lone female and I am 4'11. She certainly intimidated me -
I sometimes try and guess if posters are male or female and I am usually wrong. I once had someone refer to me on here as 'lad' and I'm female. It made me chuckle.

I'm glad it's not just me who makes 'questionable meals' hauxwell. Haha. Hey you called Firethorn a he when she is a she. Ps I didn't know she was a she either, just that she was good at cooking.
-
Thank you Firethorn. I like the sound of both those recipes. Thank you in general also, I have tried quite a few of your recipes over the years. Unfortunately, I am not a fantastic cook but I do try. How often do you manage to get back to Sheffield?
-
Hi there. My other half likes corned beef hash, but I have never made it. I'm interested to hear your recipes. Yes I can use google.

'Either way he didn't shoot her' That makes it perfectly acceptable then. -
See for miles from from Ringinglow / Hallam
Dales replied to Ousetunes's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Sorry to revive an old thread again. However, I finished work at 3 am today and drove to this part of Ringinglow to watch the sun rise. It's something I've wanted to do for ages. Has anyone else been recently? -
We had a big storm here in Chesterfield. Not too far from you. Also RIP to the 9 year old boy. My thoughts are with your loved ones.

The police officers have their day off cancelled to work football matches. Believe me, they do not want to be there -
Your general Duty Group officer rarely 'patrols' regardless of in a vehicle or not. They are dealing with an endless active queue. This involves dealing with everything else that isn't an emergency ie priority and priority 8 jobs.

Walking the beat is all well and good until they need to travel to an emergency, miles away, on foot

Are You Doing More Home-Cooking During These Endless Lock-Downs? a
Dales replied to FIRETHORN1's topic in Sheffield Foodies
Hi Firethorn1, I would say that I am doing more cooking just recently, but I'm not sure if it's just because it is winter and I love casseroles. Summer is good for me 'Stir Fry wise' but I feel less inclined to cook then. Hope you are keeping safe and well. -
You beat me to this. Well said. I despair of some people.
