  1. So it appears inspections are carried out once every 5 years as report is dated Jan 2024. From the link above; "Rating at last inspection The last rating for this service was good, (published 31 October 2018)." Going back 15 years or so to when I worked for a housing association that managed care homes, pretty sure inspections were annual. Also they used to inspect the whole service - the latest inspection only looked at 2 aspects and overall rating seems to rely quite a bit on the 2018 inspection. Again from the link above; "We undertook a focused inspection to review the key questions of safe and well-led only. For those key questions not inspected, we used the ratings awarded at the last inspection to calculate the overall rating. Given a good rating by CQC should mean a decent service, but would visit pretty regularly myself if a family member was placed there.
  2. Just another angle on last nights attack rather than a new one as far as I can see - they're saying the drone attacks may have been carried out by Israeli agents in Iran. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/israel-strike-iran-news-isfahan-latest-b2531290.html
  3. You should be safe enough under your bridge.
  4. And because the comparison should be between the PM and civil servants eg a good dozen of civil servants working for Network Rail and on HS2 are on over £300k, top one £650k. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/senior-officials-high-earners-salaries
  5. Leeds used to - well a version called "Elland Road baht 'at".
  6. Yep -, they're seizing land from residents and nomadic Bedouins who have used the land as far back as anyone can remember. Ethnic cleansing is a phrase which comes to mind.
  7. Er no - what don't you understand about "Don't fancy the 600ft climb uphill from the nearest shop".
  8. In that well known footy ground safety publication - the Mail 😎
  9. So not a leader in waiting role then. Who have been the Tory deputy leaders to Cameron / May / Johnson / Truss / Sunak?
  10. Remember Wednesday winning a replay 1 - 3 at Leeds Jan 69 / Most elecric atmosphere I've ever known - more than half the crowd were Wednesdayites. Peter Eustace was absolutely class on the night, from nutmegging Bremner early doors to launching a free kick way over the Scratching Shed in the last minute to run down time, Albert Johannsen had put Leeds in front against the run of play in the first half. Brian Woodhall got two for the Owls at the start of the second half on one of his rare first team appearances, and John Ritchie "hit" the third near the end - a miss hit from the edge of the box that Gary Sprake somehow misread - pretty much like Ritchies equaliser in the 1-1 draw at Hillsborough on the Saturday. One of the most memorable wins in my time supporting Wednesday and doubt if you'd get an atmosphere like that on a Saturdat afternoon.
  11. 🤣🤣🤣 Nope......................................................
  12. Ban on rubbish burning in most of rural France due to fire risk. Don't fancy the 600ft climb uphill from the nearest shop on a bike carrying several days worth of shopping.
  13. What makes people think that all Sheffield homeless congregate / beg in the city centre?
  14. Try living in the French countryside with no public transport and the nearest decent shops 10km away. No bin collections from your property - rubbish taken to the nearest set of communal bins often a km or two away.
