  1. ok thanks, didn't say in original post when it went missing.
  2. Have you seen the earlier thread by moonbird? Could be yours
  3. not just nationwide - apparently all banks have had to do it, or so I was told by barclays the other week
  4. Did they have their bins out? It may be proof that they collected from the road despite the snow but some people didn't put their bins out.
  5. I agree and maybe leave a Kong toy or similar to occupy her. There are various toys made that won't give instant reward. Someone once suggested to me to get a couple of kong toys and fill with peanut butter then freeze. When you go out put them in different places not obvious to the dog but still with easy access for them to find. You may also want to consider doggy day care or a friend/family member have the dog in the day, they shouldn't be left for too long as a puppy.
  6. I wait for them to call back - if it's important they will otherwise I don't bother about it.
  7. B&M sell Johnstones and Dulux at reasonable prices.
  8. It says you have to download an app and the charge will go through your mobile.
  9. There's an overflow carpark on Weedon st (I think it used to be one of Meadowhall's overflow carparks)
  10. A friend of mine applied after being told by the job centre. The jobs were advertised but months ago and they shipped the workers to other Ikea stores for training.
  11. The residents of ponderosa did get free tickets (or so I was told)
  12. Zooplus website have them on offer http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/dogs/dog_treats_chews/biscuits_cookies/purina_delibakie/387261?gclid=CjwKEAjw1PPJBRDq9dGHivbXmhcSJAATZd_BqGv4q5G1qg3dCs1dNrIw9b_6j_jb7Y87Caw-e2xUdhoC8fjw_wcB
  13. I was down there earlier and not much litter on the streets. I even saw a man pick up a bottle of juice that I assume a child had dropped as it was almost full and put it in the bin. The point about the chewing gum is true though.
  14. I never thought they were - just saying what parents said.
  15. Parking fines were given out a few times at Brightside when my son was there (going back about 8 - 11 years). Parents just complained and commented about the parking enforcement officers being hypocrites because their car was parked illegally. I agree Limpsfield is horrendous but there isn't much the school or anyone else can do about it. The parents who are doing it will tell you a hundred reasons why it is necessary for them to pick their child up in the car (not many will be valid). I always check the time when driving near there and go a different route to avoid it.
