  1. The legendary REEF will be headlining this indoor festival at Corporation Sheffield. If you like live music and motorbikes, this festival is for you. Back to back bands, an awesome collection of motorbikes, street food, classic stalls, leather armchairs, whiskey bar and exclusive acoustic sets in the VIP lounge. Get your tickets before they sell out https://www.roadragefestival.co.uk/
  2. If you're a photographer and have been approached by <name removed>, be careful. He is trying to book a photographer for a family gathering offering payment up front however: a) the date changes to suit your availability. Surely if you're having a family gathering you need to contact all members to make sure a change of date is ok. b) the venue he mentioned (The Chimney House in this case) has no record of him contacting them at all. Interestingly, they were contacted by another photographer (besides myself) asking the same questions about <name removed>. c) he wants to make full payment using a credit card and asks for your card processor information... don't give out any details, my bank have advised this is not a good idea and opens you up to fraudulent activity. d) he used the word 'Hall' to describe the venue, and the english is broken. If you're a venue in Sheffield, watch out for this too...if anyone wants to book your 'Hall'. Would be interesting to know if anyone else has had experience of this.
  3. Anyone know how we can remove bees from the roof of my house (they are in the eaves) been there for years, big swarm! Council came out and won't remove them, but I'm getting a new roof and don't want to harm them or the builder. The whole lot needs to one down. Anyone got up to date info on what's best to do?
  4. Yes it was busy, and I met loads of friends down there! Brilliant. We managed to get a table and ate from four different vans.... Have to say, the food was great. Plenty of choice. Definitely going to the next one on March 6th. But will arrive early to get a good table.

  6. If you can get past the decor....try Masala Dosa (it's called just that! Bright orange and green frontage with a big tiger plonked outside) on Eccy Road, will be interesting to see what you think. It's 'fast food' , but I did really like their dosa.

They're always on a Monday 5-9pm. Next one is 13th Feb, then 6th and 27th March. Really good Streetfood, we went to the last one, about 8 vans to choose from and drinks offers at the bar. Beat up with good grub and music...and it's indoors. 120 Trafalgar Street, S1 4JT.
  8. Street Food and Pop-Up Dining, what a fantastic combination! It's also indoors.... Thank heavens...who wants to dine outside in the freezing cold?
