  1. its a guy I know off the car club i belong too - he's very good. NEVER wash your car or let someone wash your car with just a sponge or one of those jet wash style brushes - come to think of it, nor a car wash as it will scratch your car.
  2. for a proper detailing to your car that will have it shining like new, not scratch your paintwork with sponges etc like valeters - see http://www.finerdetails.co.uk
  3. No intolerance, just an opinion that blue badges should not be issued due to just any disability as they appear to be, but specifically issued to those who *need* to use it. And also, for them to print the car registration on the blue badge too - to stop misuse of the badges. I know of several people who borrow them to park their cars - because the disabled person who has the badge does not drive nor uses the actual blue badge. A nominated car reg to go on it would thus erradicate this.
  4. well that would affect their walking distance would it not? therefore, my post covers it
  5. personally i think people should only qualify for one if they actually need to be closer to the door, ie their disability affects their walking distance - if it does not, then i see no need for someone to have a badge.
  6. i was angry when i saw two aisan lads parked up in a disabled bay right next to the entrance to meadowhall (the one that goes in by the banks (hsbc etc) when there was plenty of spaces further back... however - it amazes me how many disabled spaces there are when even on the busiest meadowhall days - they are always empty!
  7. and get clamped? the arena carpark is private lol
  8. never mind when i left work at 5.30ish the jam round from nu and the dwp off eccy road, all caused by one stupid sheffield city council minibus parked right on the corner of the road to get into greens gym and goes onto the rear of waitrose carpark!!!
  9. he should have taken it to a car detailer, they would have got paint swirls out, t-cut on its own wont, but they can
  10. they probably arent bothered because its your word against theirs to be fair.
  11. Not at all dear, just have issues with people who cant get their story straight, cos it looks like falseness. But hey, there are people to help you with lying. But a refresher lesson is needed to help you with judgement - as you clearly knew how fast he was, so you need refreshing on the issue of taking the law into your own hands - and forcing him to slow down. I believe you knew what you were doing and did it intentionally to slow him down, going by what you have said previous.
  12. Yes they would... very arrogant of you to say otherwise, perhaps you need refresher lessons.
  13. That my friend is criminal damage, and can end up with you in court, or a smashed window if they put 2+2 together and come and plant a fist or rock through said window. Also, doing that is just a cowards way out.
  14. if there is no parking restrictions in place, then no where as no right to complain.
  15. now ya just showing yourself up caroline, showing true colours to have to get all defensive about it - funny how you can tell someones sex over tinternet eh? How presumtious. lol Just shows ya to be the crap driver you are and that perhaps you do need refresher lessons if your now trying to deflect the attention away from yaself cos we all now know whos fault it was.
