Why assume that UK kids, given the correct support can’t aspire to rewarding, successful careers? Instead of importing talent, train and educate the ones already here?

What are low skilled workers going to do that our own unemployed low skilled workers won’t do? What about the infrastructure? What about overcrowding schools? What about the overstretched Health System? What about the lack of homes for British people? What about the welfare state? What about the transport system?

Great Britain managed to discourage the Armada, Napoleon and Hitler. Yet we can’t stop a rubber dinghy!

Yes it’s tragic that people drown trying to cross the channel. Why is it the UK’s problem? Stay in France, it’s a safe country that is twice as large as the UK. It’s also warmer.
