I don't think print is dead though maybe if they keep printing new editions of jordan, wayne royney, gerri halliwell, etc biogs it should be.. I sometimes don't have the patience and then go through phases of reading stacks. Just about to start the few books I bought yesterday. A book can stir different emotions in different people as you need to add your own imagination more (unlike films)...so it'd be a real shame if books disappeared. Probably find increasingly that you'll be able to dl books off the net instead...but that doesn't 'feel' the same as holding a shiny new book in my hands.

Damn...missed this again but just checked their website. Repeated Wednesday 14, 7pm on BBC Two and Saturday 17, 7pm on BBC Three Where I can see last weeks though? I only caught a bit of it and wanted to see what happened with the 3 coupes (the mazda in partic). Anyone? Ta

Is one meal a day bad for you? Agree with Jabberwocky and Salster and its a definite yes. It's good you're cutting out lots of sweet things but (as I think you're only young?) you should be eating stacks of fruit/veg/protein/calcium otherwise all that gym work won't have the effects you're after. Try to eat more and varied meals or at least just drink lots of milk inbetween. PS If you find that your body isnt made to have lots of muscle (not all guys are)..go take a look at the brains and brawn thread aswell!

Not for the first time I agree with StarSparkle but I like just a bit more of brawn than the consumptive look..particularly at the weekend! Wouldn't want to spend time with someone who was all brain either though. Intelligence...yes but also need humour, wit, knowledge and a glint in the eye.

I'd like to not think its about gender but I know/have known more guys than women who can't commit! Most important thing is to be honest...so if you're 'with' someone (which can be in stacks of ways) just need to make sure you're both in agreement. I've been in both situations where Ive wanted to commit more with someone and then found out that was never their intention but then I've done that to someone too. Wouldn't recommend either situation again! Kirsty - Id agree whilst the closeness of a relationship can be really really good...having a good time being single can be just right too. And it doesn't have to mean sleeping around.

It doesnt inspire me to write as I just can't manage it but... I'd like to be able to write simple, non-corny, laugh out loud humour with dry one liners/insights and a clever story. Camberwell Beauty by Jenny Eclair (and Im not a fan of hers normally) It's not great literature and won't win any awards but its simple yet clever and sad yet happy. A perfect beach book.

Hmm...I wasn't sure it made sense! I kinda meant something that when people are adults they have memories of their childhood given to them by their parents. Trying to just say that parents should (as most do thankfully!) remember that the smallest and biggest things they do can be remembered by children and taken with them into adulthood. I wonder if that's what you thought I meant or you had better ideas?

Over the hill. I don't intend to post stuff quite this quickly again but if I don't do it now I never will!
