  1. Here are some of my videos I've made at my local woods wharncliffe go there every weekend pretty much, unless there's a tornado or something...very rare occasion but I started this september with my new camera (Kodak Z1285) using windows movie maker so yeah not brilliant but if anybody fancies giving me some tips on where to put camera or something please feel free, one of the videos is a christmas one so bit out of date now but still feel free to watch. Thanks 1st video - 2nd video - 3rd video - 4th video - 5th video - 6th video (Christmas with a bit of strong language) -
  2. Great variety at wharncliffe fairly big woods aswell and generally the dog walkers and fellow bikers are sound, most horse riders are ok but I have come across some not so friendly and motocross bikes well just let them past my friend didn't move for them once and his back wheel was in the way so they went past and kicked the back wheel wasn't damaged but there needs to be more action done about it! Oh and if you go in via the intermet house owner "Greg" looks scary but top notch fella!
  3. I've been riding up there now almost every weekend for the past 3 years, great place with awesome tracks don't ride xc tracks but the downhill tracks well they have levels really the first few are easy and the further you go the harder and steeper they get, I still can't ride the steeper stuff in the wet without falling but that's just down to having the bottle to let loose met peaty when I was riding spoke to him real nice guy sound as a pound!
  4. No need for a cafe, get a bag pack up some lunch and bottles of water or get a camelbak your fine, need the loo depending on what you want, there's plenty of trees and hidden spots if it's other then I'm afraid you will just have to hang on.
  5. wharncliffe has a variety of stuff more downhill but they do have xc tracks up there, and I see plenty of people just riding on the fireroads.
  6. Any downhillers on here who goes up to wharncliffe??
