The Nihilistics - featuring the one and only Pete fcs - playing a 20th anniversary gig at The Grapes on 20th of October. Hey Pete fcs, Mel etc. Back from honeymoon in Italy where, among other things I met a young lad who was in an Italian Pearl Jam tribute band. That night he was doing a gig in an Irish pub near an American Air Force base - and was going to dress up as Bin Laden. He was a right nice chap. I really fancied going along to the gig but it was a bit out of our way unfortunately.

I had a look at that Sheffield Pubs website - some cracking pics (including the Locarno in its black period). Instead of trying to get permission - why not simply link to the appropriate pic? (is this a bit "Viz letters page"-ish) I'll get my coat. T

I have some old Nihilistics original tracks that we used to practice with for the reunion - I'll put them on the Nihilistics site and you can take them from there. Also - Matt did a remix of one of the live tracks - for the Rare and Racy benefit CD. I haven't listened to it properly but I'm told the vocals are much less prominent. I'll put that on the Nihilistics website and you can take that if you want. Also - I found a great pic of the Hallamshire on Pulp's website.
