  1. Hi This is a long shot but need someone to help this week, Thursday, Friday or over weekend. Have two kitchen wall units to take down and then new ones putting up. And 11 doors then need replacing. The property is in S64, Swinton. thanks.
  2. I live in Sheffield S20 and would like to rent or buy a small piece of land that I can take my dogs too and maybe put some raised beds on. So a piece of land like people hire to keep their horses on. I can’t go on rightmove for this!
  3. Thanks, that was the number we keep ringing. Because she is so bad we have a stairlift person coming round as she cannot wait. Thanks.
  4. Thank you. They will be paying for it privately. A friend’s sick relative had both a stairlift and wet room fitted and when she needed care because the company was not council approved or something similar. Adult services at the Council have not answered their phone all day. How are older people or people without internet access supposed to find anything out. Ta
  5. Hi I rang Age Concern who I thought would be able to assist however they seemed to not know anything of what I was asking. I need to organise a stairlift and a walk in shower for my elderly parents in Sheffield. I have heard from some people if you get them fitted yourself and a carer is needed the carer won’t use any equipment you sorted out yourself. The council haven’t answered their phone as they were my next call. My mum has cancer and there is going to be a point that she needs a carer so I need to get it sorted. If you have dealt with this situation yourself I’d be very grateful to know what contractors you used etc. Thanks
  6. Hello I have a new ish kitchen a Milano Contour one infinity plus I think. It has a decorative trim that runs along top of base units under the worktop - I had my old integrated washer put in - big mistake as it now leaks and no one has any idea how to remove the trim. Just hoping someone has had one of the Wren kitchens with the times who has needed to remove them. Have contacted Wren but I am not holding my breath they have “uninstallation” guides. Also hoping a joiner with experience of wren kitchens with this trim might be reading whose services I can hire. Thanks
  7. I know it is short notice but am looking for recommended kennels. I have 2 rotties and a xBreed who will share and a small gundog for a kennel on her own. They all live together. I have tried a few already recommended by others which are full. I would go and visit before booking. Thanks
  8. Can anyone recommend someone (who has fitted for them or has fitted for someone they know) who fits TV wall mounted brackets - that have full motion, not the cantilever ones. I did have a company round who specialise in audio equipment but I guess the job was too small for them as they do not seem to be able to fit me in hence I am now looking for someone local who is reliable. Thanks
  9. I'm wanting to have a new stereo fitted in my car. Can anyone recommend a mobile fitting service they have used/heard recommended Or if you are a car radio fitter please message me. Thanks
  10. I need some repairs to my caravan sofa. My puppy has chewed a chunk of material out and nibbled some of the foam. Foam is not a problem but I need someone who knows what they are doing to repair the material. We are talking about a hole approximately 10 inches across and about 6 inches high. I have something with the same material to match it up so I don't need to worry about sourcing that. Can anyone recommend someone good with a needle/upholstery. I have a photo if needed. Thanks Angela
  11. I have not seen my cat since Friday tea time. I live in Sothall S20, meadow gate avenue. He is a small male tabby with white legs and a white chest. He is friendly and I am worried he could have got into someone's car visiting someone on meadow gate on Friday evening or sat morning. He is a homely cat and has never wandered off before so I am concerned for his safety and am sure he has not come home as he is unable to. He could be locked in a shed or garage - as well as he could have got into a car. He is micro chipped so if anyone had found him and taken him to a vet I would have been contacted (when he was 1 he was ran over when I lived somewhere else and a kindly person did take him to the vets and me being contacted quickly saved his little life). If you see a little tabby cat with white legs who is not normally on your road/not a cat that you usually see please contact me. Thank you ---------- Post added 06-10-2015 at 10:42 ---------- He's home
  12. I am having some decking fitted Monday/Tuesday. I've got some rope coming and need some chrome ends and hooks/eyes to attach rope to posts at ends. B&Q sell rope and posts but no ends. Other than online I cannot find a shop that sells decking accessories which are not wooden which I can physically pop into a shop and buy. Anyone please know anywhere that does indeed sell decking accessories, not just the decking/posts. Thanks.
  13. Absolutely. With that nice person and microchipping he got the care he needed quickly. He is not out of the woods yet bless him but he is more stable than he was and he's been given the best possible chance of a full recovery.
  14. An absolutely massive thank you to the person who picked up my cat that was run over near direct cars and took him to the vets. Because of you he received quick treatment and is now stable. Hopefully he will be ok to come home tomorrow. THANKS
  15. Does anyone know the name of the developer/housebuilder of the Belfry Estate, Sothall. Am looking around Collingbourne Avenue as am interested in maps when the estate was built. Thanks
