  1. I like the way you are striving to avoid "Traditional" poses (which, by the way, is my worst habit) Number 1 is a classic. I regularly try a "brat-pack" style shot. The lads really go for it. My variation on number 4 usually involves the bride throwing her arms around her husband, a bit more intimacy and interaction between the couple. I wouldn't worry. I'm sure your Bride & Groom will love them.
  2. Anyone ever get cramp in their jaw?, espacially when you yawn on a cold day. I have sobbed openly in public because of the pain. I get cramp in the arches of my feet all the time.
  3. My former colleague at Images-4 posted the original thread last year. The purpose of which was to recruit contributing photographers to Images-4 picture library. She has now left the company and I have taken over her admin duties. If anyone would like further information, there is an email link on the original post. Alternatively, visit http://www.images-4.com/ or send me a PM.
  4. probably the easiest way to get a sew on patch would be to pick up an old replica shirt and rip the badge off it.
  5. Really enjoyed the programme. I'ts easy to look at an area like Moss Side and think, "Yeah, they're all druggies and criminals." Obviously it does have a lot of problems. You could see with the retired couple the respect shown to them by the lads they had "fostered" for want of a better word. It showed how somebody actually giving a damn about these lads had such a positive effect. I have nothing but admiration for the people who were doing their best to make a difference and was chuffed to bits when the millionaire fella handed them the cheques. They weren't too proud to accept the cash. Good on em' I loved the bit with the kid bragging that he would have a better car, one day, than the beat-up Nissan the Millionaire was driving. His face was a picture when he found out he actually owned a Lotus Elise.
  6. "A Good Heart" by Feargal Sharkey always reminds of Sheff Utd winning 5-1 away at Oldham in 1985. It must have been played on the tannoy at half-time. A lot of songs have become holiday soundtracks for me. Spitting Games - Snow Patrol. I always think of driving from Skeggy to Stratford upon Avon to attend my mates wedding when I hear this. America - Razorlight reminds me of a day spent at Chapel St Leonards. I'd better stop now. I could spend the rest of my life writing this post.
  7. The Blue Aeroplanes. Now there's a band. I was listening to "Swagger" on the i-pod today as well as loads of Metal.
  8. Max Clifford is the PR machine behind the ugly, talentless, useless, annoyingly wealthy oxygen thief that is Kerry Katona & the scrote husband, who thinks he is something special because he is married to a rich, well -known dog. Changing the subject slightly, I hate that sanctimonious barman who does all of the voices (traffic cop, judge, car salesman) I know the message is worthwhile and all that, but I'd love to go into that bar and say, "Large scotch! I came on the bus."
  9. I wanted to use "Mr Carbohydrate", a manics b-side, but it wouldn't fit. I use a line from the song as my signature because it is a very accurate and apt window into my life.
  10. I'd love to say the Manics are the band I've seen the most, but I've only managed a mere 7 times compared to 15 Big Country gigs.
  11. The rope shot is my favourite. Nice one!
  12. I moved house and lost 10 years of prints, slides and negs. All of my A'level stuff, photos of local bands and stuff. Sickens me every day.
  13. The funniest comedy CD I ever heard was Sam Kinison - Live from Hell. I have to admit, the one joke that made me laugh the most was told by Bernard Manning. I can't post it here though.
  14. Very nice, but one question. Why is petrol more expensive at Morrisions Halfway than at Morrisons Hillsborough, and Catcliffe? Postcode lottery ?
  15. Yes, down to 1/32. I do use it on full power with a stofen diffuser a lot though.
