Hi John. Im a bassist and atm im working with a drummer. Were not doing much but have a very extensive line of experience. If your interested he has a practice room that is set up with P.A. Not to sure what we want to do but would be interested in giving it a whirl and at least having a few practices with loads of fun. Please let me know

Hi all, Were trying to start up a new band in Sheffield and need a singer, male or female aged 30ish/40ish (age not that important). Its just a hobby but we do have a free practice room with full pa. system. It's an ideal oppertunity for someone who used to sing and want's to start again. The style will be whatever comes out (pop, jazz, funk, punk) or just the' local sound'. Were currently 2 guitars, bass (me) and drummer. Interested? sounds like fun... then please get in touch

Im trying to find the exact date ted heath and his big band played the city hall. It was sometime around 1952. My mother-in-law had her picture taken with 'ted' by either the Sheffield star or telegraph. She would love a copy of the picture. We have been trying for a while to find the exact date but have drawn a blank !! If anyone can help we would be grateful... thankyou.
