Evening All , just wondering with the weather being so bad ...although forcast for tomorrow is good . Will Thorpe Hesley still be on as ive known it to be cancelled when weve had heavy rain due to the field /pitch been waterlogged . Do hope not as ive got car loaded and ready to go . If anyone local or Frank is on could you please let me know.

Just Found this on Advertiser website - Kelford School, on Oakdale Road in Kimberworth, will be holding the event on September 19 with doors opening at 8am for sellers and 9am for the public. There are 50 spaces available at a cost of £5 per car and any money raised can be kept by the vendor. Afternoon All would just like to say i stood at Pedlars Corner today....what a Lovely group of people both sellers buyers and organisers . Great Atmosphere will definately stand again , did very well selling my plants but will take carboot things too next time . All sellers seemed to be doing well so would recommend to give it a go either buying or selling .

Hi i popped over to New York stadium last Sunday as its local to me it was its first week and think myself £10 is far too expensive for a car when its in its early stages as a boot ,they are only charging £12 for vans which i feel is unfair as if youve got a transit you get more room plus obviously more stuff . When we arrived at 10am there was only 10 cars and two were already packing up plus plenty of cars did a u turn when they realised it was £2 to park apparently the guy running it expected 300 cars/vans to stand and has blamed it on the weather but when i stood Thorpe Hesley last one there was 15 of us stood and weather was terrible . Think this guy needs to be realistic if he reduced the price plenty would stand and it could be built into a fab Carboot id definately stand then he can put his prices up when its established .

Hi i stood was great until the rain i got wet through and so did my booty but even though i was back home by 9.45 i did really well . Think the forecast put some people off but still a good turn out regardless . Hoping to stand this Sunday too its always a well run,friendly car boot so heres hoping for better weather im not bothered as long as its dry .

Morning All , Thorpe Hesley definately Cancelled , yes i was one of the sad ones who tipped up in this weather but i always live in hopes incase there was a break in the weather . Heres hoping for better weather next week .

Hi i know the carboot is on tomorrow and Frank normally puts on if cancelled . You dont book just turn up gates open at 7am but its busy and people do get there and wait from 6am its £5 to stand for a car Hope this helps . From what someone else has put its charity day tomorrow still a car boot but all proceeds generously given to charity .

Thankyou for letting me know , i was going to stand but couldnt get through on the number given ,my hubby finally did late saturday morning but the lady wasnt there . i wanted to check if you had to book n best way to get there so glad i didnt waste my time . It is a shame as you say another Janet who runs Bowshaw tried in the car park off bottom of moor but unfortunately as much as she tried there was no support by sellers or buyers .
