Just to say thanks to every one who replied to my thred on sheffield homes i emaild my local MP & it has now sorted you see, you have to cause a storm sometimes to get things done and if this upsets people along the way so be it .So stop beening SHEEP & THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX IT WORKS . Unacceptable as in they ask if you have any medical needs too be taken in to acount if you have pets what area you would like.And then just ignore what you have sid and go on there merry way

Dose Anyone Esle Think Sheffield Homes Are Incompetent,or Just Dont Care .and Do I Have Any Rights When They Offer You Ahouse That Is Unsuitable. We have been awarded priority due to overcrowding and have 8 years waiting time. I sufferer from a back problem and due to this find it difficult and sometimes impossible to get upstairs. The housing have recieved a letter from my GP telling them of this problem. So why are they offering me upper floor properties. I know there are lots of people that need rehousing and am very greatful that they are offering us a property but i did not even bid on it our housing officer did. So taking into consideration my back problem you think that they would think arr he cant have this property cos it may be difficult for him. Im not bothered where it is or if theres a garage, or if its near my family i just cant understand the logic of giving somebody with my condition a upper floor property.
