Well clearly he is no far right wing socialist politician, but you are clearly a raving maxist. But the sad thing about the labour party is they are destroying themselves for no reason. Owen Smith is no more electable than corbin. The only candidates that can get past the selection process are unelectable commies. So whoever wins the contest the tories are the real winner. Whoever wins the labour party will have a civil war, and the one thing history tells us about civil wars is that every casualty is one of your own. Let the blood letting commence.

We clearly are not discussing things with rational beings. If/When corbin wins the election for party leadership it will be shouted out as some major victory. But in truth the enemy they are fighting is their own party. They haven't laid a finger on the other parties just mortally wounded their own. It is akin to the RAF bombing British ground forces in Iraq and claiming it as a major victory against IS, who are just sitting back laughing their heads off. -

So what you are saying is that come the elections we shouldn't vote for the MPs and councillors who have been disloyal to corbin? -

The important thing is that it makes them unelectable. It would be a shame if it brought down the labour party and a lot of hard working mps and councillors but it was their fault for nominating a total no hoper in the first place. They will either have to get used to a very long period of opposition or look to the alternatives. It is only a few million voters who feel that they owe their vote to the labour party name regardless. -

Are you aware that the tories got 11,334,576 at the general election and it is unlikely any of the 640,000 votes that you mention were from that 11,334,576. It might seem a minor point to the average momentum indoctrinated oaf, but it is quite important nevertheless. You see to win a general election corbin would need to hold on to the 9 million votes that labour took in 2015 and also take at least 2 million of the 11,334,576 that the tories got. At the minute it seems that around 2 million of the 9 million who voted labour in 2015 do not intend to do so with corbin running things and it is pretty certain that very few of the 11,334,576 tory voters intend to vote for anyone other than the tories, and no amount of dancing bananas is going to alter that. Infact I'm still unclear whether you are saying we should or shouldn't vote for the 172MPs who wouldn't back corbin, or for that matter the councillors who won't back him either. Go on give us a clue. . ---------- Post added 21-09-2016 at 17:15 ---------- And around 20 folk each week shove leaflets for pizzas, tree surgery and double glazing through my letterbox, and a further dozen ring trying to sell PPI insurance claims or save me money on my heating bills, and I don't buy any of them and block the numbers.. -

It's interesting that you mention the libdems. Tim Farron was interviewed a few days ago and gave his verdict on corbin. He categorically ruled out ever being part of a coalition with corbin or a momentum ruled labour party. Not that it is particularly important, but the odds of labour forming a majority government are so slim the only danger was really from a coalition and as the poison spreads the options of coalition partners is starting to diminish as well. -

Well if you speak for momentum it would appear to be a party for juveniles. -
It would seem that labour mps have been plotting for 35 years in order to find a no hoper leader so that they can rebel against him. I'm still unclear what you and your fellow momentum activists want the electorate to do. Should they vote for Angela Smith or not when it comes to election time? http://labourlist.org/2016/09/angela...is-very-clear/ Or should we follow the example of labour votes in mosborough and tupton and vote against the disloyal labour candidates?

I see. The MPs who were elected by millions of voters before corbin was leader of the party are out of step with the trot who was always at odds with policy. That's what I'd expect from a left wing labour supporter who claims to be a libdem. I suppose the 32% of labour voters who changed sides in Mosborough and Tupton are also disloyal by your definition, although by everyone else's standards they are just not prepared to vote to return to 1975.
