  1. Aye, there's the rub .... I hope Officer Dibble isn't watching!!!!!
  2. The King James Version of the Bible states: "If a man also lie with mankind, as hee lyeth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination ...." ... but of course, I could not possibly comment!
  3. Kirkland did go down like a ton bricks. Disgrace to the blue 'n' white shirt! A few Leeds went a bit lairy - big deal! This used to happen week in week out in the 70s/80s. It's all changed now with all seater stadia and inflated prices. The middle class namby pamby fan you get these days all start crying because "those nasty men over there are singing nasty songs"! The lad should have used the defence: I hadn't had a drink before the game, blah blah, blah, all Leeds fans are angels, blah blah, blah, it was all the police's fault, blah blah, blah, the ground wasn't fit to hold the game, blah, blah, blahing blah (ad lib to fade) ... it's worked before! All together now .... aye, aye, aye, ayeeee .... East Bank Republican Army ....
  4. I've noticed that since the introduction of fortnightly bin collections, our local public bins are getting very full. Sometimes with carrier bags of rubbish sticking out or just placed by the side - especially the bins which are a bit secluded. I have even heard suggestions that this could be classed as fly tipping! Does anyone know for definite what is and what isn't legally allowed to be placed in a black public bin? There are no signs on the public bins to advise, so I would have thought there are no restrictions. Just suppose: If I buy a sandwich, packet of crisps and a can of pop from a shop and eat it sat on a bench, when I finish I place this in a nearby bin - this is doing the right thing and in no way could be classed as fly tipping. If however I hire a minibus to take 12 mates on an outing and they all buy a sandwich, packet of crisps and a can of pop. I pass a carrier bag round when they've finished and place the rubbish in a public bin, could this be classed as fly tipping? I could have just let them individually place their rubbish in a public bin, couldn't I? What difference then, when my family finish their tea at night and I know my black wheelie bin is full, I place all the remnants of the tea into a carrier bag. I then walk down the road and place the carrier bag into a public bin. Is this fly tipping? The last scenario is obviously what is happening, but could the people doing it be prosecuted and fined?
  5. I think the reason that the report exhonerates the behaviour of the fans, is to try to make up for previous slurs (The Sun). I think it was an unfortunate serious of events that unfolded on the day that culminated in a horrific disaster. For me the true cause of the loss of life on that fateful day is the presence of fences. If the fences were not there, yes, people would have spilled onto the pitch but people with not have been crushed. The fences had been erected in grounds up and down the country due to years and years of crowd disorder. The biggest testament to the people who lost there lives in 1989, is that today going to a football match is a totally different experience (no fences, all seaters, a lot safer). Inadequate planning, poor decision making and lack of communication by the police obviously had a massive impact on the day. However the fans who turned up late, for whatever reason, whether they had had a drink or not, knowingly or unknowingly, did play a part in the disaster. Unfortunately it is human nature that if fans are outside a ground and kick off is fast approaching, the focus of the fans is simply to get inside the ground. This is applicable to many fans outside many grounds, especially in the 70s & 80s. The TV footage outside the Leppings Lane entrance clearly demonstrates this phenomenon.
  6. English for the English? The loony left will start jumping up and down about that one!
  7. My good friend Farquhar has seen this as a bit of a business opportunity ... He's going round his neighbourhood offering to take extra bags of rubbish for a pound a go. Once his white van is full, he waits 'til the middle of the night and dumps it all round the back of the chinese takeaway. He goes in the next day with his ill-gotten gains and orders himself a set meal for 2 with extra fried rice ... naughty Farquhar!
  8. Inciting racial hatred. Rio is openly stating that somebody calling Ashley Cole a "choc ice" is funny. "Choc Ice" is a derogatory term for a black person who displays behaviours of a white person (black on the outside, white on the inside). Inferring that displaying characteristics of a white man is somehow inferior. Guilty as charged!
  9. It is alleged that Rio has condoned the use of a racist term on twitter. Should Rio now face investigation by the Football Association and moreover, have a case to answer to in the courts?
  10. Will John Terry be f****** contributing to this thread!?
  11. Well done to the Blue 'n' White Wizards! Nice to see the true Sheffield team rise once again. Thank Evans!
  12. Deary deary me! One would have thought you might like to check the spelling of "apostrophe" before pulling somebody else up on their grammar! ................................. This machine sniggers .................................
  13. Three and a half out of ten. Keep trying. --------------------------------------- This machine sniggers
