I am happy to recommend Jeff Smith, who has done another excellent job for us. He has replaced our banister with an oak one, part of the job involved getting some of the wood turned. Jeff takes responsibity for measuring up the work and for organising the materials to site. He is excellent in managing the job, giving a specified length of time for the work to be completed and sticking to it! No, I am not! On a more positive note, The Florentine has benefited from both a great interior and exterior refit, so to qualify my first comment it is worth a visit to see the improvements to the building. Also it is the best restaurant around for car parking.

Slow service, no main meal, of course I'm annoyed! If a restaurant opens its doors for service it should deliver, irrespective of how new it is. You say 'grow up' I say get real, there are plenty of good competive restaurants out there who will get my business. Are you connected to the restaurant?

I don't know, I only had a starter! Inexperience shouldn't count, if you offer a chargeable service.. it should be delivered! A restaurant exists to serve food to a client order! The starter was nearly 1/2 hour to arrive. We only wanted a standard meal and service.

Yes, I did complain when I went to pay the bill. I declined discount vouchers for any further meals there. I did not receive my main course. When I enquired where it was, it appeared not have been ordered at the kitchen. My party were well on with food at this point. Hence I ordered a take away to eat at home. Just visited this restaurant, appalling service. First time ever,I actually ordered a Chinese take away while still in a restaurant , pity they are not on Trip Advisor!
