Ha3el, nice work with them timeline image - https://www.facebook.com/pages/Cyber-Bunny/105417449187 I'll like your page as Social Colleague and promote your business on our page too EDIT I can't 'mention' you as I don't think you have that set up in your settings. -

You definitely don't need to do that, check again. I would go for it asap. One of our clients saw a 60%+ increase in traffic simple from pinning a few images of their products. It's the third largest social media website as of a couple of months ago, and it's easy to get an invite - if anyone want's one, just PM me. Try a social media dashboard like Hootsuite.com. As for the G+ thread nice idea, i'll take a look next. Most numbers i've seen are much more balanced than that now - around 60-65% female. Though it does have to be said, most females are more active also. -
Why is Facebook worth £104 billion
JPMiddleton replied to Location114's topic in General Discussions
The IPO is scheduled for May 18th and based on what the market assesses the site to be worth, he'll get approx what's been mentioned above. Facebook's valuation is based on their revenue from advertising. Simple as that. They have the most targetable ad' system online. -
Google places is a must for a business like yours. A Facebook Page would be an easy and effective way to start promoting your business within your specific area. Facebook advertising is by far the most effective online, due to the amount of info users provide you can target people in your area who talk about iphones (for example) and are students. If you need some help setting up a page or doing an ad' campaign we offer these services, but i'd be willing to give you some free advice any time.

We design websites and blogs based on Wordpress (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wordpress). Wordpress used to be very much a blogging system, but now it's so much more than that - you can build virtually any time of website you want, including eCommerce. We offer a budget installation for this type of simple website/blog, but to be honest I'd be happy to do this for free to help out your parents. I'll drop you a PM now.

TLCProperties.co.uk are brilliant. A family run business that does everything professionally and they genuinely care about the tenants. Exceptional service. All this is from someone who uses them as a landlord. I'm willing to bet you can't find better in Sheffield. -
How to let more people know a new website?

A blog is also a great idea. One of the best way to get ranked for your chosen keywords. -

I disagree about Twitter... you might not see direct referrals appear on your Google Analytics, but a lot of our clients spotted us first on Twitter. We help manage social media for small businesses and done correctly it can deliver traffic - with the right fans and advertising your Facebook page can certainly deliver quality lead and clients. -
Is it the website in your signature? What 'package' are you on?

IMO it was hyped because it was invite only.. but there's every chance it will snowball now, as the API was released yesterday we will now see what third parties can do with it.

Getting access to an old hotmail account. Is it possible?
JPMiddleton replied to CatherineS's topic in Computer & Tech Chat
Im pretty sure after a certain period of activity it is 'suspended' but not deleted, best bet it to contact support. -
You could do much better than £5 a month with visitors like that. I would give it a go, but be clever about where you put the ads. How old is your site?

Tumblr the blogging platform? Prefer WP myself.
