  1. Never mind the tache, what about the fact that she's half fish?!
  2. One thing this pandemic has shown us is just how important the welfare system is. Can everyone stop stigmatising people who use it as scroungers now?
  3. Just curious to see whether any members here think the earth is flat?
  4. A tone know who lives in those 2 massive houses on Ecclesall Rd South? If you look on Google maps, they're between Whirlow Grange Ave and Croft Ln.
  5. The OU can be quite a long drawn out way of getting a degree. Although, with the responsibilities of being a working adult, it's sometimes the best way to get your qualifications. However, research the career path you want to take because theres often alternative qualifications that are more specialised, but just as recognised. I looked into computer science and theres a company called Treehouse, that you just pay a monthly fee to download lessons. They also help you find work at the end of the program. Good luck!
  6. The problem I've got, is that this idiot I'm sueing, is likely to plead poverty and pay me back as little as possible, each month. I'm torn between the financial aspect of it all and the principal of it all. The stubborn side in me wants to make him pay, even if its £1 a month, over several years 😂
  7. The contract is irrelevant. We have written messages agreeing terms and dates. That's more than enough for a case to be made. Yes, I've called the police. They've filed a report for the theft and damage. Also the threats he's made over the phone to me and my family. All the phone calls have been recorded too.
  8. I was just wondering if anyone on here had any experience of sueing someone through the small claims court? I've had problems with a tenant who has left without paying his rent for a month. Also damaged the flat and left rubbish everywhere, including a sofa in the garden. I've spoken to a solicitor and he says I can sue him, despite not having a contract in place (he was a friend of a friend). Anyone had any experience?
  9. We've got a private villa with its own pool. He's going to be swimming every day, eating out and learning about foreign foods. He'll learn more about swimming in those 2 weeks than he's done in years of swimming lessons. Nothing wrong with telling your kids to spin a little white lie about being unwell.
  10. I've taken him out for a few days in the past. The last few days of a holiday ran into term time. I just told the school he was sick.
  11. Planning on taking my son on holiday within term time this year. He's only 8 so won't miss much. Have you ever taken your child out of school for a term time holiday? Did you agree to pay any fines?
  12. When you hear the god father of punk admit that Anarchy In The UK was nothing but an act. He kind of becomes a has been, instantly!
  13. Or the whole <removed> show is becoming weary and it's ran it's course?
  14. Threaten to leave a bad review on trip advisor if they don't give you a receipt. That should work.
  15. Sharing a platform with Cameron has nothing to do with bringing about a peace process during conflict. Tony Blair is now completely irrelevant. And, let's face it, Corbyn and Cameron shared the stage every week during PMQ's
