  1. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaa..???????????? Explain!!?? So...gone are the mexican moustaches, wobbly muzak & complete stranger walking in??
  2. Like Beckham and Rooney et al, disgusting...
  3. Yeah- 'their' bigots deserve a "dry slap"(Frank Butcher) as sure as ours do?
  4. I'm also sick of this problem, and have had plenty of experiences which angered me and friends/girlfriends. I work in Attercliffe and have had no racial trouble there particularly. Some of those throwing the racist abuse, of any colour, did indeed recieve as you said "a right good slap"- some people know nothing else!
  5. Yes- two lovely weeks OFF WORK! :hihi:
  6. Wow! Did that happen to anyone else? You beat me to it.
  7. Probably on both counts- I didn't know Mother Theresa was ill then as I didn't bother with the news too much- but still..eerie timing.
  8. On the day Princess Diana died, and the news was flashing everywhere, I remember saying obliquely; "God, who next- Mother Theresa?" - She died one week later. When I was younger I remember several times having a different tune in my mind, turning on the radio- only to find that very song playing on the airwaves! Some of the songs in question might have been in the charts, I can't remember, but I was spooked still... Has anyone else had similar, or more extreme, experiences?
  9. Thanks guys- excellent news! When I go deaf, I'll try suing Sony...and losing...and going bankrupt and homeless ....Whassatyersaysonny?
  10. Hi I'm not exactly a technophile so go easy! I bought a Sony mp3 player for about £90 and it's great, but I've noticed that when I play downloaded music, of varying bitrates, the volume seems to be 'capped' at a setting too low for me. Some files are 'right' for me, alot seem 'quiet' in comparison. I'm not hard of hearing, and have adjusted the mp3 player settings. Is there a capped maximum volume setting by the manufacturers? has anyone else had this 'problem'?
  11. Yes, same here. Whenever I've been with a ladyfriend (ahem), they always seem to prefer dance music, though. When I worked in pubs/clubs, by the time I went home, my brain had melted and my glazed-over eyes had rolled up into my head Personally, my tastes are very varied- from Beatles to Marley, Beethoven to Pistols, Redding to U2.
  12. Lol! It would have been Volga of me to Putin the time and effort? Now I really Moscow!...........................................(t.u.m.b.l.e.w.e.e.d)................................
