  1. The light timers are definitely off, we drove back to Sheff from Stockport yesterday around dinner time and had about a 40 minute delay due to the traffic. There was a huge delay between seeing cars stop at the lights on the oncoming side and the lights changing to green at the other side, didn't time it but it must have been over a minute. Luckily a few people were using their common sense and proceeding with caution through the red light when it was clear that the other end was on red and the road was clear of vehicles coming the other way.
  2. I think the general advice about ignoring social media is the best thing to take away from this. There are a lot of people that are clearly loving the fact that they are furloughed (some with their employer topping up the remaining 20% so are still on full pay) but there are obviously far far more that are not happy with it and want to be at work, contributing to society and nervous about their future employment when things start to get back to 'normal'.

  4. It's also worth noting that Huawei also allegedly refused the NSA's request to put backdoors into their kit in 2014 - which some believe is part of the reason the US is making a lot of this noise.
  5. They've had them at Morrisons for a few years now but seem to be seasonal - I usually buy them weekly when they're in stock. Ocado have them from time to time also. Delicious steamed.
  6. I was told during a fire safety course that the rational was more around the potential for static electricity being generated by taking the phone out of your pocket and how that could 'potentially' ignite fuel vapours. But with most fuel stations offering pay at the pump these days people are always taking wallets/phones/cards out of their pockets it must have been deemed extremely low risk.
  7. E.V.s typically have way less moving parts and less things to "go wrong" and generally speaking eletronic parts are much more reliable than mechanical parts which wear out.
  8. Based on the following document - https://www.tp-link.com/uk/support/faq/1424/ There appears to be an option within the guest network settings of the TP-LINK WPA4220 WiF to "allow guests to see each other" - whilst I don't think that should cause this behaviour, depeding upon how the vendor is implementing client isolation I have seen odd behaviour in the past (with other kit at least). How are you determining that they can't see each other, checking the ARP cache, pinging between devices or something else? Worth checking the powerline devices are on the most recent firmware versions etc. too.
  9. Looking for recomendations for somebody that can take a look at our leaky gutter - it's leaking at the join between two sections so I suspect it might just need re-clipping into the union bracket.

  11. I had a 1999 Mk4 with the 1.3 Endura E engine about 10 years ago and it was a fantastic car, super reliable, I then "upgraded" to the Mk5 which ended up having no end of issues. Sadly despite it only have 60k miies on the clock and no issues I literally couldn't give it away so ended up scrapping it - such a shame that I didn't have the space to keep it.
  12. Sure, if that's all you took from that page and it's references sure...
