  4. Thanks everyone I spoke to my husband last night and he has said he is not going to stand for any ill treatment by staff at jessops so at least he will fight my corner.....dont get me wrong I have my own back but its just different I think when you are having a baby I will be seeing my midwife at the end of the month so I am gonna tell her what I expect this time as I am not gonna stand for any c**p.....but fingers crossed I will have a normal delivery and be home the same day.....THANKS FOR ALL YOUR COMMENTS AND WELL WISHES and to any ladies having babies GOOD LUCK AND ALL THE BEST x
  5. I would love a home birth but have been advised not too due to my last c-section and i feel chesterfield is too far as we live in north sheffield and am worried about traveling time incase they are any problems with my baby.....rock and hard place brings to mind
  6. thats the sort of treatment i got at jessops after my c-section this is the thing that is worrying me as i was left for 3 days without seeing a midwife and the times i did nuzz which was twice in 3 days i was ignored also got discharged with a butterfly needle stuck in my stomach just dont want the same treatment this time round
  7. thank you I think I will have a chat to her
  8. My midwife has advised jessops as its the closest hospital just incase my baby is in danger as I very nearly lost my son last time so I understand why I have to go their andI will go their as I need to put my baby first I am just scared and the closer it takes the more worried I am getting
  9. I have considered other hospitals....rotherham and chesterfield but I also have heard the same thing about jessops being better equipped so now I feel like I am in a rock and a hard place even my midwife advised me to deliver at jessops but I am scared
  10. Well, yes jessops will be the hospital I will be going to as its the only maternity hospital in sheffield this was the first thing I looked into
  11. I am due to have my baby in november and after a bad experiance in 2005 with my first child I am abit worried about giving birth there again. I asked for a home birth this time because of how badly I was treated the first time but my doctor and midwives said I need to have my baby in the hospital due to me having to have a c-section the first time. Anyway I am really scared of giving birth in jessops again and wanted to know if anyone has given birth in the last year and what their experiances was like good or bad....Also wanted to know if the hospital still provide baby milk or do you have to take your own in. Thanks
  12. I cant walk my kids to school as its about 4 miles away from home but i am not that bloody lazy as to park where i'm not meant too the yellow zigzags are their for a reason that being so it is safer for kids to cross plus i think most parents are capable of crossing the roads with kids without a lollipop person
  13. I too have reported people parking on our drive to the 101 service and they too contacted the dvla and had the car towed as we live in a busy shopping area we was getting it alot....once you have done this a couple of time have a sign put up stating this and a camera put up we have and had no problems since!!!
  14. I agree you shouldnt use being pregnant to get rid of a pet, i am pregnant and i have 2 dogs , a cat, a rankin dragon and 8 chickens, have 2 kids and a husband who works full time, i work part time and manage to still spend time with all my pets and they are all very well looked after
