  1. Like I said, im sure the school is good. And of course I wouldnt like a dump at the end of the garden but even if there was a plan for that, the council would give us chance to object. The staff car park holds about 20 the other 30 ish use the playground and this is out of school hours which is the problem. When it was run by the SOM it was a lovely area to live, now its an expanding business with unbelivable inconsideration for area. Yes they have had after school activities for years but part of the planning restriction stated that the new sports centre would have no increase in use, that restriction has been broken along with many others. It doesnt matter what area you live in, if you have chosen a house for its quiet back garden then with no warning it changes, why shouldn't I be annoyed.
  2. Im sure its a very good school but it would be nice if the school Headmaster showed some care towards the surrounding community and stoped the over development within its grounds. He wants the school to be a good neighbour but he does not want to listen and continues to build his empire with no thought for local residents. Parking is awfull around the entrance at school times then 18 months ago he decides to open the playground to cars for evening and weekend activities. He gave no warning to the Button Hill houses who now have a carpark at the end of our once quiet gardens, with headlights, noise and polution of aprox 50 cars every half an hour going back and forth. He has over developed the site and needs to think if he really is a good neighbour.

  5. We were a Goth band, not too much make up tho' Plenty of Gigs at The Owl (neepsend), Hallamshire, Jolly Buffer, Duchess of York(Leeds) even as far as thr Frog and Nightgown in Worksop. Did three Demo tapes, had a fanzine, had a following and featured in Mick Mercers A to Z of Gothic Rock. We got a few gigs down South but at that time things went a bit wrong and it all stoped, dont really know why. Tim the keyboard Goth went on to play with Sins of the Flesh and plenty of others and is still playing many Goth festivals with his own band, Pretencoius Moi. Anyway we were good, honest Guv.
  6. What about the mighty Autumn of North early 90's, we did ok around Yorkshire but had to back out of a gig at the Marque in London, I think that was the down fall.
  7. Any rich people out there fancy investing in the best local in the area and getting rid of Punch.
