  1. Talking about strange creatures, one night me and my father went out to collect our chinese we had orderd on our way back we pulled around the corner and infront of our house (this was at night time around 9:00pm) was this bird like creature... long neck & legs, fluffy tale. it stopped sharp in the headlights of the car, me and my father both looked at each other to say... "you see what im seeing?" and suddenly it dashed across the road like lightening into the garden across the road.. never saw it again, never herd of any animals escaping. we called it the beast of lees hall
  2. top of meersbrook park is a beautifull view, allways used to go there as a child and also on new year when the fireworks came out. spectacular views of the city at night x
  3. Well ill probably use that phrase "theistic religion" in future debates, to be honest i've never used that word. and come ot think of it you're right on the whole buddhism thing-i-ma-bob.
  4. Maybe to you the bible has an answer. but! it is not proof. God, the bible and all other religions were made up so people could understand how our earth and universe was created because "back in the day" people did not have the science to proove it. im sorry if this has offended you but how could u really believe that a "god" created our whole universe earth and everything we know... although there are some things in my life i have seen that i cant explain, or herd of a person with a terminal illness find a cure.. i do not put that down to an act of god. it is just pure luck. when i have asked people how can you proove that god exists they usually say something along the lines of " well you just have to have faith" faith is a believe not proof. i could make up my own religion.. for example. a red cabbage created our whole world and our universe and somebody wrote a book about the red cabbage creating everything. people would ask.. well how do you know the red cabbage created us and everything... and i would say. well you have to have faith!!!!!! my red cabbage religion is as valid as god and the bible. ( rant over, also i didnt want to offend anyone.. just makin a point) lol:)

  12. prospect road junction is a nightmare, people who are comin up the bridge constantly cut that corner at the bottom to go up prospect road. a family friend has had 3 crashed on there and those 3 times were not her fault, due to peoples careless driving. i swear people just dont have any common sense when it comes to whos right of way it is or just to simply check for hazards.
