  1. I know Stevo and I knew pretty him well as I did all the Skinheads from waaaay back. He was drummer for THE DEMENTED. With respect mate we all knew each other when we used to knock about at Spring Street Project/Showboat and Pond Street long time before you knew me. I've been around a long long time I started knocking about on Pond Street around the age of 12 and knew a few faces from there through friends for a long time before that. The Steveo you are talking about is Steve Varley.
  2. I first met Stevo about 25 years ago. I heard about this the other week.
  3. I'm off to the USA in October for three weeks filming then off to visit a nice man from 20th Century Fox when I get to LA. Maybe when its fdinished I can ger rare and racey to sell it for me? Just wanted to share that with you folks
  4. I met Joe mangle that night (Mark Little) got my picture taken shaking hands with him As for that bird who was in Corrie.....yeah she liked a joint as well didn't she. Bit of a stuck up cow and a VERY minor celeb
  5. THE DEMENTED Long time no hear...last time I saw them was at the Spring Street project in 1984. "Demented crew....shag your women and drink your beer" etc etc hahahahaha!! I remeber Steveo on drums and Shaggy on bass. They used to cover SHAM's BORSTAL BREAKOUT which always went down well
  6. Its the one and only time I saw P lose his temper. He was full on ****** off but WRECKLESS ERIC asked for it. As you know P would often get picked on, but he did do a good job and his explosion that night took us all by surprise. Most of the critisism came from W.E from the stage and he was calling P a ****** and other terms. The short little **** even singled me out for some reason and all I was doing was having a drink and leaning on the bar talking to whoever was serving...and I was like "What the ****???". Eric never did return to Sheffield
  7. Funniest thing I remember that misrable git (just kidding P ) do was chase WRECKLESS ERIC out of the take two club. WRECKLESS was actually acting like a propper knobhead and I think he was expecting everyone to bow down to him cos he was around during the punk 'explosion'. I got most of his stuff and the sound was great...but all he did was complain and P totally lost it. Chased the band downstairs and out the club. Eric jumped in a old Morris Minor and I never seen one of them cars move so fast....****ing hilarious
  8. We supported the MACC LADS at the Retford Porterhouse. We did play Nottingham but can't remember where it was? I know Iggy Pop was playing at Rock City the same night and I wanted to go there instead Dunno if I said this before but my favourite gig was the one at the Hallamshire Hotel....I think we had about 24 hours notice and it was packed to the rafters. That was probably the best gig we ever played cos we was on top form, the crowd was on top form and it came together just right. Unfortunately I think it was the only gig that wasn't photographed or recorded which is a shame.
  9. DUMPYS RUSTY NUTS were from down London way. I still got their album autographed from about 20 years ago (ish) BOX HILL OR BUST was a classic
  10. So what happened to Maz 'Miss Wold' ????????
  11. So which one of those lovely ladies were you? Cos you obviously know me?
