  2. One of the best places that I can find is http://www.travelex.co.uk. You order on line and pick up and your departure airport. Make sure that you order online though as travelex rates at airport are dire if you have not pre booked.
  3. You could try Langtons Antiques & Collectables 443 London Road Heeley Bottom Sheffield Yorkshire S2 4HJ Tel: 0114 2581791
  4. There is a menu on their website if you want an idea on prices http://www.tgifridays.co.uk
  5. I do seem to recall a program on televison about similar companies who charge fees and then claim to not be able to find a lender who will offer you a loan. They then make you wait for ever to refund your application fee(and in some cases don't). I think it was on GMTV (Lynn faulds -wood) or Watchdog. The basic advice was never pay anything up front no matter how desperate your situation is.
  6. Hi alexlad, I suffered from bad acne up until my early 20's,when I also started to get cysts around my ear lobes. After various creams and tablets and much hassling of Dr. I was referred to dermatologist at the Hallamshire. I was prescribed Roaccutane(a lot of pros and cons and well worth researching as it has been linked to suicides etc). After a couple of months big strides were taken and after a complete course(I think around 5-6 months) the Acne and cysts were non existent although the occasional spot rears it head. Acne can cause distress and lack of self confidence, if your doctor is not offering any useful practical advice ask to see another in the practice. If nothing else antibiotic cream/tablets should be prescribed to try and reduce the acne.
  7. I disagree a little with jonjparr's comments. I do go all inclusive but we tend to spend some time out and about. Food can be expensive but it is a case of shopping around. Breakfast can be about £5, lunch a tenner and evening meals £20. See link http://www.travel2thecaribbean.com/BarbadosRestaurants.html There is a perception that Barbados is a dear island, it is not the case if you dine wisely
  8. Hi there, I love Barbados and have been on numerous occasions. I did in fact get married there. The bajans in general are very friendly and helpful although the hawkers on the beach can be a bit of a pain in the backside - A good firm 'No thanks' is usually enough. There are plenty of things to keep you occupied should you not want to spend two weeks lying in the sun. I can highly recommend the sunset cruises which also includes snorkling over a couple of ship wrecks. Harrisons cave is okay (doesn't beat the Peak's caves though) adn the wildlife and fauna are superb. Combine this with some spectacular nights out you are in for a real treat. If you want any more info drop me a line
  9. At one stage this belonged to Sheffield Polytechnic (Before it became Hallam University) My Dad used to play cricket for the Poly team and I spent many a summer evening in the pavilion and long jumping with mates.
  10. Carey New at Norries is excellent, contact her on 2766166. Tell her Jonathan sent you :-)
  11. HI there, a bit off topic but a good book on why cats do things like that is Cat Confidential by Vicky Halls http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0593052765/qid=1105439263/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl/026-8056518-4570051
