  1. Hey Guys Ive recently been added on facebook by someone claiming to have met me.. I have no recollection of doing so.. but can describe when where what we were doing when we met.. Now i wasn't too fussed about it as to be honest they seemed pretty normal.. however I'm now pretty suspicious that its a wind up by some of my mates.. a pretty good one with some decent effort put in.. and without them knowing im wanting to see if i can find out whether it is... so i can "reverse" the wind up. I've tried the usual.. but its not happening.. soo i'm wondering, firstly if its legal to do so?!.. and if so is it possible to find out the location of said person through their IP?.. and if so.. how could i do it through something like facebook (chat) or MSN messenger?... I only really need to know whether theyre attached to a server in sheffield or manchester area... Any assistance appreciated..
  2. Tbh ****.. Depending on what your wanting to teach (i guess something like graphics and DT?) with what ever else you can cover.. most of my teacher freinds now started using the cover agencies... work can be a little on/off but it gets you an in... Also your just coming up to teacher placement advertisements (Jan is usual teaching job appearance time).. sticking with TAing is probably a start... have you approached the school your in to see if they can help you in anyway? The courses at hallam if your looking at the DT PGCE's and that are pretty naff when it comes to graphic design, textiles and food. they really focus on the resistant materials and electronics side of things.. 3. Hey Guys.. yet another knowledge delve.. Right im 22... Just looked up my new Car insurance quote (due mid july) and its come to £695.. yeah yeah i know not too bad.. However i'm a student, and don't really use my car that much (probably 2000 - 3000 miles a year if that)... doing crap commuting between sheff and grimsby... and holiday driving Soo Bikers... im looking for other options... and guess biking is cheaper in the long run?.. plus i can see my self on a vespa .. Starting from scratch.. never ridden one before... from CBT up to riding standard for a motorway worthy bike... saying i pass first time blah blah... and i know kitting yourself out is as expensive as you want it to be... how much is the cost of learning?.. ish how much is insurance for a bike?... ish.. (22, no accidents, but new) and how much more do you get for your petrol money? and ultimately.. is it cheaper? FORGETTING RISK... (mother will kill me but, i dont want preaching about how dangerous biking is.. Any advice welcome.. (apart from "dont do it.." ) Cheers Fletch xx

  6. sort of yeah.. but looking for one without a dongle... looking to be able to be completley wireless lol.. with bluetooth mouse already wireless is probably the way to go.. but i know its more expensive..
  7. Hi Guys... once again i return seeking room from the deep dark basement of the IT crowd... right im looking to hook wirelessly up my laptop to my aux feature of my hifi/ipod dock.. i've just spent the last hour trawling through amazon and dabs but cant find anything i think is along the right lines.. im looking to be able to beam my music via bluetooth from my laptop to a bluetooth reciever which then plugs directly into my aux port (a 3.5mm jack) to then be able to rock out wirelessly.. (may even be alright with a red white jack would be as i have a conversion cable for that into a 3.5mm jack already)??? Anyone happen to know of anything on the market at the moment that doesnt empty my frail student piggy bank?! assistance greatly apprecieated... Fletch
  8. but is this classed as unauthorised?.. as in the fact that the ladders in theory are his property?
  9. Hello all.. i'll stand up and say not been on here for ages and everytime i do its cus i need your guys assistance.. i have an ex employer... who to put it simply we didnt really get on very well and hes a mardy arse git.. who is trying to screw me out of £135 from my final salary payment for a set of ladders he claims i have but i dont... It all started beggining of september when he fired me (for a very minor thing) ...as part of the employment as a surveyor he issued me with various peices of equipment.. Ladders, camera, extendy pole thing.. etc etc.. i returned the other stuff but inititially thought i had my ladders at my mothers (due to a recent move i thought i put them in her house for safe keeping) i told him this and told him i'd return them to him asap... after looking at my mothers it turned out they wernt there.. and after thinking about it and talking to one of my collegues i was told my ladders were infact in the office... i advised him of this.. and even went in and spoke to one of the directors there (its a small family business so theres only MD and 3 directors then like 4 skivvys)... who said he'd have to wait till the MD is off holiday.. I took a picture of the ladders in the back of one of their marked up cars and sent him it advising my ladders were in his possesion... and that the ladder check list (a folder of signed checks we have to carry out on the ladders everyweek) proved they were my ladders.... he has completely dissmissed this and claims i still have the ladders as per my initial emails.... and discards the ones remainder denying that i have the ladders.. and is now refusing to even email me with any of the evidence and records he claims proves i have the ladders.. and has sent me a cheque minus £135 for the ladders (which only cost £50 to replace)? does anyone think i have a case for small claims and whether its worth persuing it... i am a student now and £135 is a fair wack to me.... is there anyway of me getting him to prove to me i still have my ladders.. or anyway of me getting him to send me the evidence proving my ladders are the set i took a picture of?? Any assistance appreciated.. Fletch

  11. Hey all.. just had rather interesting argument.. my boss's wife, claims that a blokes car insurance was invalidated cus he was carrying to much weight in his car.. (he was going camping with his 3 kids has a boot full, roof box and bikes on the boot.. but had all the gumf and lights and everything.. )... apparantly she heard it on BBC news?? that this is the new get out clause for insurers?? can anyone clarify this or is this her having a senior moment??? Fletch
  12. Help all please!!! explaination of my situation.. I bought a skoda fabia 1.4 elegence about 2 months ago.. it has an intermittant really annoying habbit of setting its own alarm off with no reason.. now after some research ive found its a common problem.. ive investigated various bits and bobs through BRISKODA website.. but i cannot get to the various parts of the car (door sensors) causing the problem.. i know its one of the doors as ive already disconnected the bonnet and interior sensor... searching the internet funnily enough cannot tell you where the control box for the sensors is... im wanting to gget to it so i can disconnect the wires from each door, disabling the sensor so i can figure out which door sensor it is thats tripping the system. either that or can someone tell me where the siren is so i can disconnect it cus its starting to annoy both me and my neighbours.. (last night took the michael after going off 7 times).. Any help apreciated by many! Cheers Fletch
  13. ps.. good luck with the ride lads!
  14. yes its in cornwall.. ever heard of multimap??.. google??.. a small bit of intuition? xx
  15. lol.. although i agree to tesco not being built there.. i do think a sitting area/playground is also slightly bizare too.. busy road kinda kills the whole "nice" sitting area ... and kids.. PC people wil go nuts!! theres not really much that can happen to the area..someone is going to want to buiild a shop there.. whether its tescos or asda or your local john.. .. but your local john wont be able to build a building and make it work unless you manage to get something that walkley needs.. and tbh.. theres aint nothing walkley hasnt got.. apart from a tescos. lol.. petrol station was probably the best thing there.. but noone used it so it went under. (price was the issue really) .. Fletch
