  1. Hi my roof has been leaking since a long time now, the last torrential rain brought water through all three storeys of my house. I am looking for a roof repairer who can come and visit free of charge before starting the repair, as the area of roof causing problems is in quiet an awkward place, which is pretty hard to reach.
  2. Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was illiterate by the way....he memorised the Quran... your choice...there being a barrier between sweet and salty water and the fact that they don't mix...was discovered recently....... okay guyz ill leave you to do your research and come up with random accusations...if you want...ill get back to the forum whenever I can...take care bye....
  3. Not believing u'll be burned or stoned...(but not technically to death because you don't really die in the after life)...doesn't mean you wont be burned or stoned.....
  4. Well Allah certainly does....and is accurate about it too...surprise surprise...
  5. Okay...let's assume our Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon him) was a very clever man....he must have guessed the shape of the earth... a.Sweet and Salty water....discovered recently...and more importantly discovery of the two waters not mixing...right?? b. 25:53 "And it is He who has released [simultaneously] the two seas, one fresh and sweet and one salty and bitter, and He placed between them a barrier and prohibiting partition."...and 55:19-20 "He released the two seas, meeting [side by side];Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses."... b.
  6. But was it specifically described as the shape of an ostrich's egg?....
  7. right you want evidence.... here goes nothing...... a. Shape of the earth...u'd say its spherical...or even egg shaped....when was this declared..?...in 1597 via Francis Drake...when he sailed around the earth.... b.Quran declared this 1400 years ago in 79:31 "And after that He spread the earth"...before you start arguing...the arabic word used in the verse is 'Dahaha'...which has 2 meanings... 1.geological expansion... 2.second meaning is directly from the word 'Duyah' which means an egg...refering to the egg of an ostrich.... c. today we know that the world is not completely spherical but it is geo-spherical, flat at the poles....analyzing the shape of an ostrich's egg we know that too is geo-spherical.... who'd know this but the creater...????...
  8. You know if this is called narrow mindedness, than I am again proud to admit that I have a narrow mind...at least this narrow mind is enough to keep me in peace...I always have Someone to ask to get whatever I want...I know He is always there to to get me what I need at the perfect instant as He is someone who knows me better than myself...... You may have given up but I'd like to keep trying....as I know this is the ultimate truth but I don't want any of you to realise this when it is too late...this convincing I am trying to do is in no means for my sake...this is purely for you guyz...you might want me to leave you alone but it's kind of difficult for me to just turn my back...... As far as what it would take to convince me that my faith is wrong...I guess you can't do anything really...because MY FAITH IS NOT WRONG!!!....... you didn't answer my question...did u read regarding embryology...???
  9. I'd like to leave by saying… Francis Bacon, a very famous Philosopher said 'little knowledge of science takes you away from Almighty God, whereas in-depth knowledge of science makes you a believer in Almighty God. That is the reason scientists today are not eliminating God instead they are eliminating models of God…… take care…Salaam…
  10. @flaming…loosing motivation…also known as giving up…by the way i dont read cut an paste……just a question…did you read my post regarding embryology???…i dont know what this post may have done for you if anything…it has definately made me a better Muslim…i have been on the internet reading and understanding Quranic verses gathering pre scientific proven facts in the Quran…more than I have ever before…it's been a lovely experience…thank you…hope you realise what I wanted you to…no hard feelings and more importantly no offense… @Bulgarian…lol no big deal is it something proven in the last century written in the Quran 1400 years ago…???…thought so… hope you guyz all the very best…have to say you argue pretty well all of you…but I am proud my faith is strong enough……
  11. I am willing to stay here as long as you....... Explosion: To expand with force Parting: Division or separation... Moral of story: movement away from a certain point.... I bet my life that Quran uses the perfect Arabic word which describes this in complete perfection... Similar situation to being happy and ecstatic for example...focus around the feeling of joy... "one united piece"...seems to fit the statement passed by http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/space/universe/questions_and_ideas/big_bang/ " the universe, originally in an extremely hot and DENSE state"...perfectly...DENSE is the key word here...complementing the word UNITED from the Quranic translation.... Why would you say that "chances would still be infintely higher than the Quran being the truth" , I don't see anyone from those times coming up with something as close to what science has just recently proved. You want to believe this then that's obviously a personal choice... So you do mind providing or even exampling other possibilities...???....i get it... That's my fault an I do apologise...as the Quran says...51:47 "And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander." Indicating it's constant expansion...heaven refers to space...as the word space wasn't in existence when this was originally translated... Your next point is again my fault again....nothing wrong with what Quran says... For your second last point...I'd like to say that the verses 71:15-71:16 are purely in context of the earth only, and we both know-I hope- that earth has one moon unlike Saturn...I am saying this because if you look at the verses following 71:15-71:16....71:17 "And Allah has caused you to grow from the earth a [progressive] growth.", 71:18 "Then He will return you into it and extract you [another] extraction.", 71:19 "And Allah has made for you the earth an expanse"...these all declare statements related to earth... 71:15-51:16 "Do you not consider how Allah has created seven heavens in layers. And made the moon therein a [reflected] light and made the sun a burning lamp?".....The word lamp here refers to something giving off light, heat and radiation, and I suppose we both know thats true.... For your last point...indeed we have seeked knowledge of the world via Quran....for all i know a believer may have come up with the theory long ago but no one might have accepted it as people have always had something against Islam for some odd reason.... By the way all my Quranic quotations are from Quran.com...it's a really good website...thanks for introducing it... Sorry Ive had to do my post this way....i tried multi quoting but it just didn't work for me...maybe you can teach me how to do it in your next post.......
  12. Sorry about not dealing with things one at a time...I thought I should give you a bit to digest I am glad you have questioned the translation -in a way- this shows that translations are just translations...used for basic understandings... the true message is actually in the Arabic language- with the right intensity...makes my job the tiniest bit harder.......all 3 of your sources gave alternative words all revolving around the basic Arabic word...there are several translations of the word all displaying the same basic message... Let's move on with your translation..."one united piece"- isn't that close enough to a nebula???...what are the chances that someone "guessed this concept" 1400 years ago when the study of universe was rare...???? Regarding Big Bang Theory...BBC sates that..."the universe, originally in an extremely hot and dense state that expanded rapidly".....(http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/space/universe/questions_and_ideas/big_bang/).... also according to http://big-bang-theory.com/...." we tend to imagine a giant explosion. Experts however say that there was no explosion; there was (and continues to be) an expansion. ".... I would like you to state a few of the many things this could mean otherwise...if you don't mind.... Your third point is proved by your own sources of the Quran-It was an EXPANSION not an EXPLOSION- "We 'parted' them"...your sources proved to be more authentic as they provided a better suited word......You have answered your own question... Firstly your reference is incorrect... it's verse 21:33 which sates "And He it is Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. They float, each in an orbit."...and not 21:32....This or the context in anyway does NOT state that the sun is orbiting the earth...It instead states that they each orbit...but does NOT say anywhere that the sun orbits the earth...I'd advice you to re-read it...Furthermore science has proved that the sun has it's own orbit too-which takes 226 million years for it to compelte...google it...too many references to give...... And finally for your last point...I'd like to say...Muslims did not need to come up with the idea-this statement is for a non-believer- it hardly makes a difference to our faith...
  13. You have relied on the unfaithful science theories to jump to this conclusion...whereas I have relied on the Faithful word of Allah....really have to go...keep commenting...
  14. Please do keep posting your comments regarding my post...I have to leave...time for my Prayer.......keep smiling...and remember not to take this forum too seriously...but u can take it just seriously if you like...Salaam (clarification: may peace and Blessings of Allah be upon you)...
  15. What a coincidence.....!!!...isnt it?? that Quran refered to something close to the Big Bang theory out of mere coincidence... Exploded and Bang seem related enough to me...
