On West St/Glossop Rd, there was a poster for some KFC burger, with the tag-line "Take on the Daddy Burger!" Underneath, some wag had scrawled: "And win a heart attack", which I found quite amusing.

overpriced - not really when you consider the size of it and the fact that it has a full colour screen. overhyped - not really. iPods in general are not really advertised any more than any other personal music system. And there haven't been any adverts at all for the nano. you can hardly blame them for mentioning it on their site. an ipod - well observed. might be the best thing in the world and you wouldn't have one because of the brand? that's sensible.

If you purchase a download from iTunes it comes with a licence for 5 different computers/media players, so you wouldn't have to destroy it there. They seem quite clear about it; you can play it on however many players you have a licence for, but you can't just play it on anything - that would be an infringement of copyright. That's the whole point of DRM (Digital Rights Management). BTW, I'm not trying to argue with you here, just pointing out what I know about iTunes and mp3 downloads

I don't know, but Islam certainly doesn't promote disharmony amongst Muslims and non-Muslims. When Spain was a part of the Islamic Empire, Jews, Christians and Muslims all lived harmoniously side by side, and the ruling Muslims respected other people's religions. Whilst you were doing your obviously in-depth study of the Qu'ran, you must have missed 2.62 of The Cow which reads: "Surely those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the Christians, and the Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last day and does good, they shall have their reward from their Lord, and there is no fear for them, nor shall they grieve." Hardly inflammatory, is it? Seems to promote religious harmony, if anything.
