  1. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Very professional and reasonably priced.
  2. Eric Gilbert Carpet shop on Abbeydale road have a skip to the side of the shop with carpet remnants. When I got my allotment I asked in the shop and they were happy for me to take as much as I wanted. Less for them to dispose of.
  3. I agree, MOT centre Broadfield Road, honest and reliable
  4. Just payin' back the call that you and your men did to my boys this mornin'... sorry I wasn't there to give you the proper welcome. I got me something to say that's about thirty years overdue. This is a mighty fine house, Major Terrill, a gentleman's house. Those are mighty fine clothes your wearin'. Well, maybe you got some of these folks fooled, but you ain't got me fooled, not by a damn sight! The Hannassey's know and admire a real gentleman when they seen one, and they recgonize the smell of a high tone skunk when they smell one. Now, I'm not here tonight complaining about twenty-three of your brave men, beating three of my boys until they couldn't stand. Maybe they had it coming anyway - they're full grown and can take their lickin's. I'm also not here complaining that you're trying to buy the Big Muddy, to keep my cows from water. It's interesting to see the daughter of a genuine gentleman like Glenn Maragon under this roof! I'll tell you why I'm here, Major Terrill. The next time you come a busting and blazing into my place scaring the kids and the women folks, when you invade my home, like you was the law or God Almighty... then I say to you, I've seen every kind of critter God ever made, and I ain't never seen a more meaner, lower, pitiful, yellow, stinking hyprocrite than you! Now you can swallow up a lot of folks and make them like it, but you ain't swallowing me, I'm stuck in your crawl, Major Terrill, and you can't spit me out! You hear me now! You've rode into my place and beat my men for the last time and I give ya warning, you step foot in Blanco Canyon once more and this country goin' to run red with blood until there ain't one of us left! Now I don't hold mine so precious, so if you want to start, here, start now!
  5. We got ours after about nine months but that was about three years ago. There are a couple of half plots that dont seem to be cultivated at the moment so might be worth enquiring.
  6. Thanks for your posts. We've decided to wait till summer when the nights are lighter so we've got more time to spend on the bonding process. Thanks helenasq for the advice regarding guinea pigs. We will definitely go for a Rabbit. In the meantime I'm going to build an indoor playpen so he can spend more time in the house with the kids. (and also stop our over affectionate dog from worrying him) Thanks again.
  7. Thanks Fallenangel. My worry is that ours has always lived alone so would he be likely to be aggressive toward a newcomer, or is this unlikely?
  8. We have had a Rabbit for approximately three years (bought for my daughter) We now feel terribly guilty about buying a single Rabbit as he spends so much time alone. Would it be possible to introduce another animal as company for him. (I heard somewhere that Rabbits and Guinea pigs mix) Would it help to avoid territorial issues if I built a new hutch with a temporary mesh division? I would appreciate any advise as we hate the thought of this our Rabbit spending his life alone.
  9. We use jameswellbeloved on the advice of a behaviourist. Seems to keep ours even tempered and in very good condition, coat, teeth etc
  10. I can personally reccomend Victoria Cooper she is vixc on here but if you type in peopleanddogs into google you will find her site. She was brilliant with our rescue dog who had separation anxiety related problems but I know she deals with all behavioural problems and the follow up support is great.
  11. I was there for my last dog. It isn't easy but the injection works very quickly. She went as I was stroking her and looking into her eyes. She didn't get upset and I'm glad I was there for her.
  12. Shadowlands. Anthony Hopkins (C.S.Lewis) Crying with his stepson in front of the wardrobe in the attic. I defy anyone to watch this without crying!
  13. The thriller series nearly always had a token american girl confused by our strange british ways. usually met a sticky end.
  14. press and hold down ctrl Alt and the up arrow key in sequence and it should right the image. Hope that helps.
