  1. With regard to the thread's title and Happ Hazzard I would be muchos surprised if anyone of the people arrested identified themselves as being (or by an even longer shot were members of) UAF. But yes there was lots of hate, hate for the fascism of the BNP and their attempt to exploit the horrific death of Lee Rigby.
  2. Suspect UAF is too Trotskyite a description for those arrested today. Either way it's important to point out that Roy James and his ilk were grossly outnumbered by those choosing hope over hate.
  3. I agree with Cruddas, any support for a neo-fascist party is a huge worry especially given how many people in this country gave their lives in the Second World War. But you needed be too concerned, the individuals and organisations who worked so effectively to stop the BNP are more then prepared to carry that work into next years election, (Despite the BNP squealing to the electoral commission or attempting to intimidate us by posting our pictures on Redwatch) I've never seen the anti-fascist movement in this country so well organised and so innovative. In contrast all Griffin has to offer his party (after he blew what I think was their last chance of a breakthrough) is to suggest you all give up on politics and take up street sweeping! With a leadership like that half of Searchlights work is done for them!
  4. Interesting comment on this from Nick “Holo-hoax” Griffin who has finally broken his silence following the BNP's disastrous electoral performance. It seems he admits the BNP were “out organised” by their many opponents during this election but rather then question his own poor organisation he has submitted materials to the electoral commission, not in evidence of any wrong doing, but in the hope the commission will listen to their moaning and implement “extensive reforms”.
  5. Any sustained vote for the BNP is obviously a worry but failing to make any gains in this election when they promised their party faithful so much is a truly disasterous result for the bunch of crooks that run the BNP. I may be mistaken but isn't the BNP's vote in Keppel down? This was the BNP's top target seat in S.Yorkshire so for them to come second is bad enough (for them) but if their vote is down, even better! Edit: My mistake, the BNP vote in this ward is infact up by 16 votes from 2006, however the Labour majority is up by 68 votes. The BNP did better then I thought but still to only gain 16 votes in a seat they promised to win is fairly pathetic.
  6. Would this be the same Electoral Commission which is investigating the BNP for allegedly accepting illegal foreign donations through it's Liberty front group. “BNP faces inquiry over US fundraising - The British National party is being investigated by the Electoral Commission after the Guardian revealed senior figures in the far right group had set up a front organisation in an attempt to raise money from sympathisers in the United States.” http://www.guardian.co.uk/farright/story/0,,2054890,00.html The BNP can waste their time urging the Electoral Commission to investigate Searchlight, nothing illegal has occurred and I'm just glad we've been effective in helping you achieve such a disastrous election result. Again if I were you I'd be investing my time asking more searching questions about the conduct of my parties leadership during this election, rather then pointing fingers at an organisation whose only 'crime' has been to inform voters of just what a nasty bunch of racists thugs you lot in the BNP are.
  7. Congratulations you must be very proud, but I didn't realise your expectations ahead of this election were so low, there was me believing BNP boasts that they planned to secure upwards of 100 new councilors. I thought the headline on the BNP website yesterday was very apt, “working our hardest to stand still”. However if I was in the BNP (but as I'm not a neo-Nazi racist I'm not) I'd be asking serious questions about the parties leadership which takes all the parties funds, all the activists time and effort just to produce the momentous result of “standing still”. Do you have any explanations for why you did so badly across the country?
  8. Get him down to Rocky Horrors on Division Street, or Fuse in the Forum.
  9. BNP leaflets are an extremely valuable resource for ant-racism campaigners as it's important to have evidence of the lies they try and peddle ahead of an election. If you have received any of their resources please visit this website for information on what to do with it: http://hopenothate.org.uk/index.php?getPage=leafletAppeal
  10. Then why are non-white people banned from joining the BNP??
  11. Congratulations on finding a news story to post which you haven't copied from Stormfront or the BNP's main site. I'm guessing you're offering this news story up as another alleged example of why we should all join you to protect the master race from these evil Muslims which your so paranoid about. Given this motivation it's not surprising then you chose to admit the criticism that this renaming was both “bizarre” and, “an unnecessary step”. Criticism which I suspect you don't highlight because it comes from errr......................... Shaykh Ibrahim Mogra of the MCB, presumably exactly the sort of Muslim you and your BNP chums want us to send to a gas chamber.
  12. But Sarah's Law wasn't proposed by the BNP was it, it was proposed by Sarah's family and championed by The Sun. This 'petition'* is yet another example of the BNP using dirty tricks to hijack other peoples pain and suffering to further their own extremist agenda and raise their profile in a grubby attempt to pick up votes. You should be ashamed of trying to exploit such a campaign like this. * If this petition is the type usually employed by the BNP in situations such as this, it won't be a petition in the traditional sense (ie to be delivered to the government) but is instead just a means of the BNP covertly trying to gather names and contact details of people.
  13. It is a great worry to all of us who love this country and want to preserve it's hard won values that the fascist BNP could make significant gains in the upcoming local elections. However looking at recent by-election results it would suggest that the BNP fanatics shouldn't get their hopes up too much: 3-0! Three key council by-elections, three BNP defeats “Three key by-elections in successive weeks last month could have provided the BNP with an excellent platform from which to launch its local election campaign for May. However, through hard grassroots campaigning, which included tackling the BNP head-on, the fascists failed to win any of them.” http://www.searchlightmagazine.com/index.php?link=template&story=193 I don't think this section of that report is factually correct: "Last week Aslef, the rail union, lost a case in the European Court of Human Rights over its attempt to expel a member who had joined the BNP." as I've read contradictory reports on this case: "The European Court of Human Rights has upheld a union's decision to expel a British National Party (BNP) activist." http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/6402533.stm
  14. As I understood it this is a thread to discuss the BNP not just give you an opportunity to copy and paste press releases. The problem we have is that when people do want to discuss BNP policies such, as banning homosexuals from voting or making most soap's illegal, BNP members simply dodge the questions in favor of trolling the forum with pro-BNP 'news' stories about horses being charged with racism. And you've still not answered my question as to why exactly so many members of the BNP such as yourself (presumably not even from Sheffield) are so obsessed with this forum?
