Many moons ago folk like this were sent/recruited to far away lands in the name of free-movement, irrespective of the wishes of them or the indigenous population of such places. We now lump everyone that doesn’t fit the required profile into the same bracket, well it ain’t working, hence this thread. Homelessness , joblessness and many more ness’s derive from something missing in their make up, sort that out and these folk will then be closer to a position to sort themselves out. , Well that’s my two penneth, like it or not.

Were they related to Frank & Kath Drabble who ran The Yorkshireman on Burgess Street? -
Surely Iran Has The Right To Defend Itself

The U.K. must take great care not to persuade/dissuade either state, the USA is playing with fire by backing one side instead of attempting to be the peacemaker. Russia is flexing it’s muscles against any state that doesn’t agree with them, the whole thing is a mess. -

Men - To Stand At The Toilet For A Pee Or Sit?
crookesey replied to Draggletail's topic in General Discussions
Standing is for peeing whilst :- Sitting is for something that it rhymes with. 😉 -
Well the smoking in public places bill didn’t include the house of commons bar so I suppose that neither would an alcohol ban.

Your political hatred should be settled at the ballot box, not made a hobby of. Back on topic I drifted into smoking as a kid, I realised late in life that I didn’t need it and just stopped with very little trouble. As for drinking it was something that accompanied me during all waking hours. Looking forward to a lunch time pint before a pub sandwich and then early bar, not content with that I then hit the red wine back at home prior to eating, yes I was on the border of some sort of alcoholism. I’d retired from work so the lunch time pint was the easiest to quit, early bar was helped by my local turning into a venue for low life’s, so that ceased.. I ended up by quitting the red wine, which I really enjoyed, and settling for two or three cans of beer in the late afternoon prior to the evening meal. I hope that this helps, you are far bigger than the fags and the booze. 🤙

Smoking is so expensive that I’m not surprised that it is in decline with young people.

Post one this thread, haven’t seen it elsewhere, to be fair to the poster, it’s more of a ‘what if’ ?
