  1. Hi all, it's been a long time since I have posted on SF, so apologies in advance.... married now with 2 kids so time has been rare. We are moving into a new home soon and I would like to convert the single garage into a cinema room. (5.3m x 2.5m). Can anybody recommend tradesmen / builders who can undertake the work? I am looking for the following bits of work. - Build a wall so that we have a small shed area and if possible utilize the existing garage door - Build a new doorway leading to the hallway - Install stud walls if required - Install electrics, lights, a/v cabling and heating. - Decorate, soundproof and plaster the room - Help create home cinema related ceiling, screen surround, acoustic fabric units etc Any tips and advice most welcome. Kind regards, Riz
  2. I am about to move into a Attercliffe Exchange supplied area and shocked to find out about this sub-standard broadband service. The project should have been sold / taken over by BT! The partners involved need a good kicking!! Grrrr Does anybody when the Attercliffe Exchange will be upgraded to Fibre?
  3. SOLD. It`s gone to live down south (southend-on-sea) Riz
  4. Right..... time has passed and house prices dont seem to be stable anymore.... Im too going to be having £5000 going spare soon.... so same question again? What can I invest it into? I currently have a mortgage which is fixed until next year with Halifax. Riz
  5. It is still available, not bothered advertising it in Autotrader as I have been waiting for my company van to turn up. Riz
  6. My Mini is up forsale if anybody in intrested. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/344971.htm Cheers. Riz
  7. Have you found a replacement as I am putting my John Cooper Works S up for sale! Its based on the Mini 40th LE`s. PM for more information if intrested. Cheers
  8. Well the bodywork is still made from steel..... the design remains the same with non adjustable steering wheels and seats!!! there are so many things that Rover could have quite easily improved but maybe that would have diluted the orignal design by Mr Mini himself...... Ok mine is a multi-injection model but to me its a classic... everybody who see it things its a classic.... and yup it aint a BINI... now in my eyes that can never be a true classic... ever!!! Riz
  9. I have a 1999 John Cooper Works S Mini...... just one of twentyfive ever made!!! Why do I think its a classic... well arent all old shape Mini classic`s? Perhaps not in age but in design. Even the last Mini`s to roll off the production line used old technologies from when the very firsts Mini were made..... downsides meant that they can suffer from rust quite badly if not looked after....... Anyway anybody seen me driving about? Riz
  10. Is it this one? http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/179705.htm Riz
