  1. :hihi:Yes,this is true. My mother as the same problem with cats at her place! The dogdoo is more in public places though & probably more rife methinks. ---------- Post added 04-06-2017 at 09:55 ---------- Unbelievable!! It amazes me how they are not embarrassed in the slightest to watch they dog foul such an area!! ---------- Post added 04-06-2017 at 10:00 ---------- Quite true maidinsheff. I have spoke about Colley Park before & the amount of litter (mainly plastic bottles) that is left strewn about. TBF the football teams have been making a better effort recently bagging a lot up but still a lot is left. The kids/youths just use it as a social (read anti social) gathering point & have no concept of litter bins. Anything that is put in the park for their enjoyment is usually wrecked or destroyed in time. Shame but thats how it is.
  2. I have a dog myself but just can't understand why people can let theirs do their business on the fields (& even on the paths) & then just leave it!!
  3. Honestly! Can people start picking their dog's mess up when they take them in the park!! A roll of poo bags from Poundland cost, yes, you've got it,a £1! There's no shame in picking it up!! Cheers. Rant over.
  4. Many thanks. I've also seen the PhotoShop in Chapeltown do this so going to nip down & see them first.
  5. Is there anyone out there that could convert an old HS90 8mm tape to DVD please? I would preferably need it editing slightly too if possible. Its only one tape so not worth getting all the gear & doing it myself. Appreciate any advice though, thanks in advance.
  6. If you see the wink at the end you'd have realised this was a tongue in cheek comment.I wouldn't dare touch them,if they're football players they'd probably go down like sacks of ****e anyway
  7. As far as I can see, buying nice flashy new motors to drive around with their hi-viz vests on in!! Lots of 'patching up' going on around here (S5) but some shocking work. Woolley Wood Bottom is very nice now though, credit where its due.Who did that?
  8. Must have just missed them.I was in there about 2pm,wish I had of been there.Bashing a few scrotes would have been the perfect remedy for my bad round earlier
  9. Just been for a wander around the park before settling down to watch the games on TV. Obviously there's been a match on today on the park, its easy to tell because there is a swathe of empty plastic bottles plus various litter all over the place!! Surely lads,it is a lot easier to just have a bin bag with you & task someone to collect the litter at the end of the match & dispose of it in one of the bins on your way off the pitch!? I know this area is not exactly the 'Garden of Eden', and there is already a litter problem, but lets try not to compound it & leave it with the attitude of 'someone else will pick it up' or 'its bad enough already'. We can at least try to have a little bit of 'paradise' in the area
  10. OK,a couple of things. Emily,It was youths, 15 to 18, so whether you call them kids or not is debatable.I physically saw them running out of the building followed quickly by smoke & flames billowing out of the windows. They had been on Margetson shops a few minutes earlier, usual typical crew, tracky bottoms with their hands down the fronts of them playing with they crown jewels & smelling of weed!! They are not a generation I have raised,I don't have kids, but our generation have gone all too soft on them, human rights brigade! Jeweller. My father was a child of the 40's,yes,arson happened I assume in 'those' days but my father would never have been involved with anything like that,no point saying 'if he did'! Maybe knock on a few doors and run away yeh,but that was a kids entertainment back then. And I am not hoping ANYONE's kids are caught in a burning building,I am trying to put across the point that the delinquents who started this should think before doing what they do, but then again, brains probably aren't their strong point! I am not saying I was an angel when I was young either,I had my bad points, but compared to these idiots they were minor. These are an accident waiting to happen & lets hope NO ONE gets injured whilst they continue on their destructive way!!
  11. Oh, and well done to Sheffield Council for getting someone to come out & make it safe by pulling the remains down before any more damage was done. But please tell us why you didn't do this when it was originally fired about 10-14 days ago? The place as stood empty, like a sore thumb, for the past God knows how long,as if waiting for the executioner. Now we have had the vast cost of ?? fire engines & personel PLUS the demolition squad on overtime!!! Brewery & **** up come to mind!!
  12. I'm pretty sure my Dad never did anything quite so stupid & moronic as these little scumbags who blight this area & give it a bad name!! In those days you respected other peoples properties.
  13. Yeh,well done to the morons who put lives in danger by setting it on fire!! The only consolation is that it will be knocked down now so it will save the fire/police coming out again, not to mention the cost to us council tax payers!!They'll probably find something else to torch though. Lets just hope that one day, when they have grown up (unlikely!!) & have a family, that if there ever comes a day when they need the fire service because their house is on fire (maybe with their kids inside) that there not on a call for an arson attack on an old youth club!! Yeh,think about it you morons!!! What goes around comes around.
  14. Its best to feed him after his walks. That should give him encouragement to come home.I notice you say that you can leave him for hours on his own, maybe that is why he's reluctant to go home,he may think he's getting left alone again. Could be worth leaving the radio on in the house next time you leave him alone to give the impression that someone is with him.Other than that,a playmate??
