  1. The M1 speed cameras are now certainly active all the time between J34 and J31 at least, not just when the speed limit signs are illuminated. It's been this way since Christmas. I've made something in the region of a dozen trips in evening darkness, and witnessed one or more camera flash most times. If you believe a post going round on social media, they've been set to 72mph.
  2. There are some in the corner of the car park where the old Fire station was, off Rockingham Street.
  3. This would explain why Stagecoach were driver training through Kiveton Park earlier this week, and saves me asking the question elsewhere, thanks.
  4. Is there anywhere to get a badminton racquet re-gripped in the centre of Sheffield? Does Racquets on Division Street still exist and do it? Cheers
  5. Might want to check the date in the first line of the page...
  6. Similarly, although Bradfield Brewery "on the way back" cost me much more than the ice cream...
  7. What is the world coming to when you'll no longer be able to get a 69 between Rotherham and Sheffield?
  8. Tinny music from mobile phones on speaker mode, and the aroma of someone trying to sneak a ciggie upstairs.
  9. There's one of these on the M1 n/b between J31 and J32, and one on each carriageway around J27/J26ish. Been there a while.
  10. Thrybergh is £1.50. That's a pretty large discrepancy even within Rotherham Council's scope of responsibility. Graves and Millhouses are £2. Poolsbrook (Staveley) is free.
  11. This used to be the case until some time last year. Parkrun parking is now £1.
  12. Very easy way to get sugar into the system whilst running. Personally, I prefer Haribo as the icing sugar on Bassetts Jelly Babies dries my mouth up.
  13. Crowds were great around the course. Not sure I would have made it back without the encouragement coming down Ecclesall Road and around Hunters Bar. There must have been thousands of pounds spent on Jelly Babies...
