  1. i remember martin windle. he worked at saville street.
  2. i played mixed rounders with pete, my sister mary knows frank well. we are from round the corner on doeroyd. had a few drinks with frank in the white horse about a year ago.
  3. yes patrick was bernies twin. Such a shame loved him, to bits. Had many scraps with him when we was younger and many drinks with him in white horse.xx
  4. went to the club from about 69 to 74 . i used to go with bernadette, played netball for the club and rounders. mixed as well. michelle robinson, anne wendy vicky havanan sue atherton.dempseys. pete smedley, tim, ronnie bagshaw. Off we go to trafalgar beer off on friday night before the dance. Sam dj was the best. good bunch, happy days.wish i was still a teenager, even though i still act like one.xx ps sad about pat crowley. went to his funeral a month or so ago. met a few off the old crowd.xx
  5. Hiya i went to play centre 60s and then to meynell road youth club when iwas 14 till i was 18 played netball for them and rounders. sam was dj. good times there. lived on doeroyd crescent. x
  6. my sisters and cousin remeber cooper terrace. they all went to woodside school. My cousin actually lived on copper terrace.

  12. hiya i remember bernard worth. living on doeroyd crescent, he use to stop on the top of the hill at Sharps house, then at our house no.40 from there he went to the bottom and turned left on wordsworth ave. Sadly I remember that he ran over our next doors neighbours lads leg. But yes, he must have made a forturne off us kid then, we were all big familys on doeroyd. Good street games good punch ups. here's a few names. Sharps,Knights,Savilles,Quirks,Wallers,Baldwins,Crowleys, Myself Lindley, Savages, Them where the days
  13. Hiya I worked at Bentley Bros at Attercliffe road when i left school in 1970 Left in 1978 to go to National Travel (Old SUT) i met my old man at Bentleys he worked in Engine Shop. I was in the office. Managers at the time i started was Fred Thorpe, Harland Renshaw Dick Williams. Good days, until John Croft, came did not get on with him, he use to send me up to Savile street in store office. ps my name is . Maiden Name Lindley. Great Christmas drinks in Ole in Wall.
