  1. I'm thinking Sunday seems to go far too quickly compared to the other days.
  2. Current top films: Citizen Kane Amelie Spirited Away
  3. Currently listening to a long playlist of songs from The Black Keys
  4. Following on from my last post a year ago (a year!) I'd like to add: Sunny Day Real Estate - HMV Forum, London. 2010. (The original line up playing their first ever UK gig since forming in the early 90's) Them Crooked Vultures - Brixton Academy, London. 2010. (Benefit gig for Brian O'Connor. Showed exactly why they're called a supergroup) Jay-Z - Hyde Park, London. 2010. (Never thought I'd get to see a Jay-Z show, but here it was and I wasn't disappointed)
  5. I recently finished "One Day" by David Nicholls (a birthday gift from a fellow forummer!). A beautiful read, the way it spans the most part of a lifetime is very clever - you really do get sucked in and want to know more, leaving you feeling like the characters are new friends in your life. Funny, poignant and moving. Read it before it's released as a movie! (Already started filming!)
  6. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Don Valley Stadium 2006 + Finch, Leadmill 2008 Kings Of Leon, Leeds, 2007 We Are Scientists, Octagon 2006 Foo Fighters, Sheffield Arena 2007 Manic Street Preachers, Manchester 2006
  7. Not long to go now Sav! Everybody please donate some spare cash to the link above as this is a great cause, best of luck x
  8. No particular order: Biffy Clyro - Mountains Friendly Fires - Paris Kings Of Leon - Sex On Fire Paramore - Decode Kanye West - Love Lockdown Cajun Dance Party - The Hill, The View, The Lights Dead World Leaders - What Do You Propose (I Do?) We Are Scientists - Chick Lit MGMT - Electric Feel Finch - Chinese Organ Thieves
  9. I've met Russell Brand and Trevor Lock after a show, they were really cool - I could hardly keep a straight face for photographs. I've met Dave and Pos from De La Soul who were awesome, (Mase wasn't there unfortunately). Met the Kooks a few years ago, had a quick chat with Luke about songwriting. Had the pleasure of meeting We Are Scientists a long time ago, they never fail to impress me. Also met Biffy Clyro at a signing before they got quite big. Once at a Klaxons gig I watched at the side with members of CSS. Met various Sheffield bands and musicians on my travels too. I'm sure there's more... Oh and my Grandad once met Eric Morcambe
  10. Currently near the end of 'Yes Man' by Danny Wallace
  11. 'tis very hard to watch but extremely gripping and well acted
  12. This wasn't due to censorship or for the audience, I think it was just the makers of Shrek doing something fun for the UK release. Kate Thornton plays Joan Rivers' role, and Jonathon Ross plays the barmaid which is Larry Kings voice originally
  13. That song is so ridiculous it borders on genius. And guitar hero does rock (just not when I can't do it)
  14. Al Murray seems like a really nice guy but I just do not find him funny whatsoever I'm a big fan of Jonathan Ross tho, he's tewiffic
