  1. What's new in this club
  2. Really? He specifically states in the published accounts that he puts £10m in?
  3. Can't see us making top 6. I'll be happy with a top half finish this season. As for this game? Going to be difficult but can see a decent win for The Owls. QPR 1-3 Wednesday.
  4. Looking at this lad as well. Emmanuel Dennis from Forest. Not sure if a buy or loan and have they forgiven us for sending Alex Mighten back early a few years ago.
  5. I'll drink to that. But we have issues coming down the track haven't we. End of season Charles will be gone. Bannan' not getting any younger, Palmer has now had it (if he ever did have it in the first place some might say). Sounds like Smith is off to Wrexham shortly. Johnsons dipped as well, Ihiekwe wants away I heard, Iorfa and Famewo keep getting these long term injuries. Ugbo looks lost, Windass goes missing some games, Musaba isn't cutting it. Big refresh required at the end of the season, let's hope DC gets his hand in his pocket.
  6. to get shea must of cost a bit extra but was worth it and with his brother there as well that helps, but we need a full back and a forward, lets hope the rift if there was any is now sorted between danny and the boss.
  7. Think there was others in for him mate but he's enjoying his time with us and I expect the player has some say where he goes. Opinion around social media has it that the Japanese lad, full back, whose name just escapes me now (Hatsosume or similar) is coming out of contract at the end of the month and will sign for us on the 1st February. Just rumours though at the moment.
  8. thats fantastic to have him back, but why would he go elsewhere ? and with his brother here possibly just a way of getting a few quid more from us.
  9. Please can we discuss the topics and not have a go at the people posting. Lets keep it friendly. Thank you.
  10. Charles is staying at Wednesday for the season now. He was offered alternatives but didn't fancy them and he'd rather stay put thankfully.
  11. but are his family going to pick up a even larger shortfall especially if money is owed beyond its value, but on saying that they have a choice put in more for the manager to buy players ,thus hope they go up and then sell,or do it the brentford way, buy /sell on at a profit but that takes time, or go the way wolves went and spend big on loans with offer to buy if they go up,but any way they go it costs money even to just stay as we are, but also even though sufc sale was easy as it had cash/players/parachute payments ground in order/hotel ect that even at 100 million took over 12 months, so ours losing money, ground, training ground and in the need of players would cost more than that just to equal that , so that means hes got a huge problem
  12. Chansiri's 'business acumen' got us in to football authority and HMRC financial bother. To squirm out of one big hole he created, he convinced his family to pay £34m more for the stadium than what it was worth. Only financially astute people could begin to explain why he did this. Following this, he again got the wrath of HMRC for further non-payment. Again, his family (following DC's begging note to his 'customers' being refused) bailed him out again. I say bailed 'him' out, as these misdemeanors had nothing to do with the club (our club, not his) but was entirely his failings. Amazingly, if rumours are to be believed, OVER AND ABOVE that, his family chuck a further £10m a year at him to 'keep us (him) going. 3 years ago, his family's business was worth £750m. I see this year, that figure has gone down to £575m . Is the World eating THAT much less Tuna? His family need to sell the club for the aforementioned £30m to £40m and go back to what they know best. There's a reason DC doesn't hold any executive, or other major position in the family business. Search for how much DC is worth, or how he makes 'his' money. All answers start with 'The Chansiri family business is worth £575m ........ '. He plays no part in this business. He needs to come clean, then go away. Soon.
  13. You keep banging on about this ….but can you not see ,Chansiri has run the club, the stadium,& the training facilities into the ground…& he cannot seriously expect any prospective buyer to pay an overinflated price to cover his mis-demeanours …he’s deluded if he thinks someone will pay £250m to take over ….a figure mentioned earlier of between £35-40m is much more realistic.. As for the vultures & idiots you mentioned….who are you referring to ? …please enlighten us all …
  14. yes in the chairmans statement, plus he also states it, but from all accounts that amount is supposed to be low for the champion ship, but the main concern i have is there huge amounts owed against the ground/training ground ect that exceed the cost that we are worth? or we dont know and this could be the reason he has a certain price, or is it the vultures want to buy us for next to nothing and idiots who cannot afford to buy, look at all the problems utd had over a full year and they are awash with cash. only mr chansiri knows.
  15. Does it actually state he puts 10 million a year in?.
  16. yes its in the accounts that he puts in the shortfall , but where it comes from i dont understand, thats why i think his price is dependent on what he owes, putting him a position it has to be more than we are worth, thats only my opinion as most owners would want out if the fans hate him, its costing him millions every year and all he gets is abuse, i would want out if it was me and i could not get more money in, man utd got a donator with millions, but they are few and i cannot see that happening.
  17. Is there any documentation showing he's putting 10 million into the club every year?.
  18. As far as selling up goes you just have to remember the people touting for a sale are the same ones that wanted Erik Alonso, Mamadov, Geoff Sheard, Club 9 Sports et al to buy us. It would be catastrophic and an existential threat to the clubs existence should we finish up with similar types of buyers in my opinion. We're in a right pickle with this. Setting everything aside in respect of what he owes what is the club actually worth would you think? I'd estimate £35/40M, similar to what he paid for it and that would be for the club and all its infrastructure. Any debt he's run up he'll just have to eat himself. That may be the problem, I'm not saying it is, but it could well be. Who knows what debt he has. I personally think that he doesn't have as much as people think, but I might be wrong. He could be in negative equity, where he owes way more than the assett is worth, it's all smoke and mirrors isn't it.
  19. i did not say that, i said if he sells how much are swfc worth, and how much does he owe? with the new owner is having to spend millions on the players, the training ground, the ground its self, maybe for all we know he cannot sell unless the price is high,if he owes millions to others or does he we dont know, all we do know he puts in ten million a year to keep us afloat, sufc went for only 100 million and are awash with cash and top players and huge parachute payments and are going to the prem, so were does that put us as a purchase price?
  20. Good old Mr Chansiri eh ….he’s run the stadium in to the ground….he’s let the training ground deteriorate to such a state it can’t be used in bad weather….he’s invested very little in the team….& yet some folk, like your good self, still think he’s doing a great job …
  21. It’s a Red Button game so I discovered, meaning that it’s not.
  22. SWFC being in the play offs would be as much of a travesty as me appearing on Mastermind
  23. but its up to mr chansiri its his ground, his land and his huge debt, so how much for a stadium that needs millions spending on it, a training ground that also needs a huge amount of money spending on it, a team that needs 10-20 million spending on it and debts to be paid, bear in mind utd went for only 100 million with a expensive side, huge parachute payments and a hotel ect, so how much?
  24.
