2nd hand/new furniture/furnishings stockists!

Hi

I've just obtained an unfurnished flat & am looking at furnishing it with the usual, blinds, sofa, tv table, bedside tables, drawers, wall hangings etc. But on a budget!

I was told there was a big warehouse in Sheffield that stocks everything you may need at good prices but i can't remember the name. I think they said it was at Heeley but can't be sure!

Any help appreciated on locating this place or places in general that are good for this type of thing.

Passed Grandmas Attic on Abbeydale Rd today (by the bottom of Woodseats rd, seemed to have a load of stuff to furnish a flat/house.

Maybe i'm wrong, but i've heard their stuff is dirty, old & not worth bothering with, i think my housing association will have access so i can look at their stuff, but i'm not expecting to fully furnish with them!

you will find everything at a great price here and they will deliver for free, and £10 for upstairs delivery. second hand, but clean and personally speaking good stuff.

I've recently heard about fashion4home. Don't know where they have the showroom but I've checked the website and it looks quite nice. And they do deliver at home...

i have been told there is a place off parkway somewhere (apparantly very hard to find) that sells old furniture. does anyone know the name or address?

its got a weird name as well, i think its a charity??

Try swag on coleford rd in darnall, we got our bedroom furniture from them. Good news about the flat, hope your well.

the place off parkway is called Emmaus - a catholic charity - nice place - well worth checking out.
