Right, for the serious stuff. I'm offering 10-1 on him being named Tony. Any takers?

Have to agree with you there!
Tony Blair is the best leader that the Conservative Party never had! Tony Blair is Tory Boy and New Labour are now the Conservative second XI.
Having said that, the majority of this country's ills stem from the Tory's 18 years of destruction..........in particular, Th*tcher!!!!!!
Regards,
Spacehopper.

Certainly am living in the same country, the difference is that the working class in this country have been given a fair deal for once instead of the likes of the better off and its time roles switched.
I,m better off with Tony Blairs policys than ever before and i work damn hard.
I now think its worth all the effort rather than you lot lining your pockets through our expence.

Unless you're working class and want to go to University, or send your children to university.
Thanks to New Labour I owe £10,000. What used to be a birthright (free education) has now become a commodity, to be paid for like any other. Thanks, Mr Blair.

But that 'birthright' used to be only for the few, fewer than 1% went on to tertiary education. Now we're looking at nearer 50% and, I'm sorry to say, the money has to come from somewhere. I don't agree with charging people to go to University either but if we want to extend the opportunity to as many as possible then charging fees seems like the only way.
Other than raising taxes, that is and then the Labour Party would lose the trust of middle England and the tories would be back. Shudder.
